Great care and lovely staff who truly work to get u well. My care was great with attention to details.
Best staff ever! Throughout my life I've been in too many hospitals, and going to Alaska Regional was unplanned (while on an Alaskan cruise). But the nursing staff was exceptional - led by Dr. Roberts - who was professional, kind - and a wonderful doctor and person!
Nursing treated me like family, surgical doctors and staff were exceptional, food was for the most part very tasty.
Fell near Anchorage on 7/23/26 and broke right hip and was admitted that day to Alaska Regional Hospital. Attention and service in ER was outstanding. Surgery for partial hip replacement on 7/24/26. Service and treatment prior to release on 7/30/26 was outstanding. Wish to commend the 2 lead nurses by the same name, which I believe was Alecia, as well as Angi in case management.
Please consider banning scented products, like perfumes & air fresheners. These cause me problems, and I am sure that I am not alone. Today there was some scented product in the registration area, which I could not even avoid. Thank you, Eva Streit
My Daughter was seen Last night on 8/11/26 in the ER and your staff treated her unprofessionally. They kicked her out of the bed moved her to the waiting area she was in so much pain called me crying you guys did nothing!!! If providence wasn't a 2 hour wait she should of stayed there, instead she came to you guys and you treated her like a freaking animal it discusses me how you treat injured people!! She has kidney issues which she couldn't even tell the Doctor because she was in and out so fast....they did order a urine test but she couldn't go yet and they followed her around waiting for her to go pee then stood outside the door when she went in and waited for her that is unacceptable and then discharged her without getting the results first!! And to give her medication her test showed so many abnormalities that its crazy and I believe she has a kidney infection....But your staff sucks!!! I wish Alaska had more options for hospitals!!! She is still in pain and NO ONE has even contacted her today to check on her or to tell her the results!!! You claim that your a GREAT Hospital No your not, Not if you treat people who are in tears and in pain this way!!
Good. Tough night in the hospital but I made it home the next day!
My husband came in on a med flight off a cruise ship with severe hypocalcemia. He was admitted and put on the fourth floor. There was a period of time that we weren’t sure he was going to make it, but thankfully he pulled through and is doing well. The nurses and doctors who saw him while he was there were spectacular.!! Unfortunately, since there were no aides on the floor, the nurses were to do everything, and there was not enough time for them to get everything done that he required. We had to stay the night in his room while he was there because we were not confident enough that he would get the care he needed or that the bells would be answered all the time and we were afraid he may fall out of bed. He was there forThe nurses did their very best and I can’t say enough about that. We so appreciated them. We were also very impressed with the doctors he saw, especially Dr. Roberts. She was there almost every day and always took the time to answer all our questions and explain things to us during this really difficult and scary time. One of the biggest problems was, we would be told that they would get a sitter to come and sit with him at night, but then at the last minute we would be told sorry they couldn’t find anyone so we would have to stay again, and then we did not get sleep. I don’t understand why they don’t have aides, or more sitters to help. As I said, this is not a complaint about the nurses they truly were fantastic and did the best they could. It There just wasn’t enough help! He was there for 14 days and never got washed up and only got one shower and that was because I gave him a shower. That is just not acceptable. There was a day he ever got a food tray. That is also not acceptable.!! I would like to think that letters like this would encourage change, but I’m not sure that it will. I certainly hope so for all your future patients..
Everything went perfectly I'm very pleased. Thanks to all
Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
