Terrible place. Glad I went only to know not to EVER come back here again. Waited an hour and a half and never got seen so decided to get a refund. Parents please take your kids anywhere else
Cannot express how disappointed I am. My brother was in such a bad condition, his breathing was rapid and his fingernails were turning blue, yet they failed to prioritize to handle the dangerous symptoms. It took 15 minutes for a nurse to call him to the room after several requests to the front and they kicked him out after he threw up telling my mom, “we have other patients.” In the room they noted that his heart rate was at 145 bpm, which they clearly stated was high. They did not leave him in the room to keep an eye on his breathing or pulse, just kicked him out. I understand that they here are other children here waiting for care but my brother was showing dangerous symptoms but the only thing they were worried about was the “line.” If my brother had gotten a seizure or went unconscious from his high fever would they still tell us “you are welcome to leave, we have a line?” I am so disappointed, shame on you all. As someone who is current student in medicine, I know for a fact healthcare workers are not supposed to dismiss dangerous signs/symptoms. I asked the front if there was any way he could get a popsicle to soothe dehydration in a way where he couldn’t possibly throw up but she responded with a “if he gets it, more kids are going to want it.” Could this also be the same if I were to ask for quality pediatrics care? This is unbelievable. I do not know if this is just this location or if this is every CHOA, but it is so sad to see where healthcare is proceeding to. It’s not like this is free, we are paying money so I expect quality care and a small piece of respect to care for sick children. Shame on you all, CHOA, there are sick kids waiting for quality healthcare and this is how you respond. Shame on you all.
Extremely long wait time even when the place is empty, no sense of ergency, even with a few patients you should never have to ever wait, which makes you ask yourself what the hell is everyone doing
Great experience! We’ll informed, felt like I was first priority with a sick baby!
Triage LPN (white old skinny female) Is rude and hostile. Just bitter and nasty, like she don’t want to work. Doesn’t listen to your problems and was being really hostile toward my child. I don’t know why people like this one is in medical field. She even talked behind my back to other co worker. She talks over you told us that they don’t do any of the tests we were asking. When I saw the DR, she ordered everything we needed. She’s not even RN, everything she did and told us is basic information and half of the stuff she said was wrong. I work in the medical field and she needs to get educated correctly. She should not be in medical field and hope her family gets treated like we did so maybe if she has a brain she will have some empathy toward sick people. I don’t recommend this place, if you want to get treated with respect, go to the other location.
Love love this place! Always take very good care of our little one, highly recommend!
Too much waiting time, more than 3 hours minimum
Brought my 1 yr old daughter here cuz her eye was swollen, she couldn’t open her eyes and was crying the whole time. This is called urgent care so why do we have to wait more than 2 hours?! I’m so upset 😭
Reject by this URGENT CARE facility because they open at 11 and don't accept emergency walk-ins. "We aren't necessarily emergency care you'd need to see your primary Dr. or go to gwinnett emergency" is what I was told while I had my 14 month baby in excruciating pain.
We have been going to this urgent care for years. We have never had any issues. I usually go right when they open to avoid being there too long because it definitely can get packed at times. They used to let you schedule a time online but since Covid you just have to wing it. Everyone has always been friendly and service has always been top notch. I have 2 children and like I said we have been at this location several times. The only issue we have ever had was my daughter needed antibiotics for strep throat and I was told that I may have an issue with stock of the antibiotic. When I went to CVS I was told there was none within 20 mins from my location. I called to the urgent care and asked them to change the prescription to a different antibiotic and the doctor refused and they suggested I find a different pharmacy. I explained I did not plan on spending my Saturday searching for medication. And if I told you she was allergic you would have no choice to change the prescription, they still refused. The next day I called 2 walgreens before finding it. Went to pick it up only to be told they do not accept my insurance. Was told to go to the Walmart which was across the street and luckily it was in stock and they took my insurance. Again this was one doctor and 1 incident. And we have been here several times so I will keep my 5 star rating. Last time I was at a regular emergency room THAT took forever. Ill take CHOA anyday!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
