List of Jamshid Iqbal Sheikh's Reviews
He is very professional, capable, and quickly responds to messages. I would highly recommend.
If I could give zero stars I would. The staff is not helpful. The Dr is never available. They never have appointments available. I have a reoccurring issue that requires antibotics. They do not offer a nurse practitioner or anyone to see me instead of the Dr when he is not available. I always end up having to go to a walk in clinic and pay full price for a visit just to get antibotics faster then 4 or 5 days (soonest the Dr is available at this practice). They don't care tray I'm on pain and need the antibotics. When I have been privileged enough to see Dr Shaikh or one of his practitioners their rude, short, interrupt me and never look at me during the visit. Do not use this practice.
Dr. Sheikh does not communicate well nor take into consideration the patients thoughts and opinions on their own health and well being. He has demonstrated on more than one occasion that having a medical degree does not always amount to practicing medicine and patient care skilfully. A doctor should not give themselves the privilege of changing a prescription medication, communicating this to two different pharmacies without even consulting the patient, nor checking that one of their staff has already communicated with me the situation and a decision was made by myself (the patient) that no change is needed at this time. This is pure negligence and perhaps a bit arrogant to make assumptions that his decision is what is right.
He is arrogant, rude, belittling and uninformed. I went in for issues related to Lyme Disease. He scoffed my ability to research (I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Masters in Environmental Chemistry.. and a Law degree!). I asked for a test and was positive for current Lyme and historic. I don't think he likes smart women. Or women at all. Or people who are as smart as he is. Or smarter. I couldn't wait to get away from him and find a qualified Dr. You might be able to get in quick to see him because no one in their right mind wants to deal with him. Don't even bother.
efficient records, not as caring as they used to be. poor folloupl
This doctor and the practice office in Olney left me feeling disregarded and very frustrated. I ended up going to a new doctor in a different practice.
I have found him to be patient, a good listener, and good at explaining options.
I saw Dr. Sheikh today for the first time, after a mix up about my appointment time with my regular provider. He was outstanding, and I would be very happy to see him at any point. He listened carefully, he has a very nice manner, he reviewed my FHC records and also lab results from an outside urgent care facility. I left feeling 100% better about my situation.
I like him... I would recommend that people go see him for issues with their health..Seems like a straight up kind of guy, while maintaining a professional demeaner...
Do not listen to patient, negligent, too busy to answer questions , deny to give me excuse for my absence in work. I don't recommend it to anyboby ,move my family to another family care center.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
