I went there and everybody was very professional. It was another reason that I went there, but I decided to change my doctors because my eye doctor does Operations and the doctor he assigned me too in his office kept getting my prescription wrong and it was very unprofessional.. so I asked Dr. Newland if he would be my doctor and he said well I'm not here much. I think it's from Walterboro.. well I don't have to go to the eye doctor much so that works for me I hope. He said that I need a cataract surgery, but he said will address that when we get started and do your examinations. So I filled out a paper for my information to be sent to Carolina Eye Care with Doctor Newland! Letter letter letter fingers crossed‼ anything is better than that creep I was going to‼

Because of family history and my own health issues I have been very concerned about loosing my eyesight. Every visit to this office has been pleasant and reassuring. Even finding the rapid onset of cataracts due to chemotherapy. Dr. Herring and staff have all been professional and responsive to my concerns and I should say my eyesight is excellent! Update: 7/28/25 Still a patient with Carolina Eye Care. Still very pleased with the continued excellent care. I have witnessed different people who work there going above the normal job description to help patients with their glasses, phone calls for rides, appointments…all with genuine care and concern.

I am always so surprised and grateful how pleasant and professionally efficient this office is! The waiting room may be full when you enter but they never seem to keep you waiting. I love Dr Herring and his real concern about you and your eye health
