Rating her at face value very nice, but that's part of the act of customer service for repeat business. Taking a deeper dive the office has big issues and I would advise staying away. My issues with her is 1. Over requesting of unneeded testing (which leaves you worried for many nights) and 2. Office cleanliness. Here are some instances that have brought me to a 1/5 star rating over 5 years with my daughters if you are interested. Early on every visit or every other she will ask for blood work for minor suspicions like our first daughter was Jaundice, (wanted us to wait at Bardmoor with a 2 week old in a room with sick people) the other daughter was Iron issues and other things she "suspected" might be an issue. These end up not being issues or abnormal things after the results come back. Her nurses don't know how to do measurements properly (very high turn over) if you monitor the paper work and compare it to your own scale and measurements they are wrong nearly every time, which isn't a huge issue, but when these incorrect measurements lead to bigger things it's alarmingly irresponsible. One time she said our daughter's head was measuring abnormally large and thought we needed a scan of her head. So we were recommended to go downtown to St. Pete to put our 2 year old through a brain scan only for there to be nothing wrong besides the offices measurements. There were a lot of nights worrying about nothing with her she is very vague and not transparent. Like most bad drs they are money hungry and trying to get their name out there in the medical community by referrals or follow up visits to "make sure the issue corrects itself". The other issue mentioned was office cleanliness /properly sanitized. I took my daughter for her 6th month check up and a week later she contracted Covid, which then spread to my entire family including my younger child of 6 months. Our children don't attend day care or school and we work from home & didn't ever go out when this happened . After my 2nd daughter's 2 year check up she became sick with rsv, which she came down with first and then was given to everyone else just like the covid situation mentioned. A quiescence? Twice? Probably not. I felt it was important to share this because there are only 18 reviews for a Dr who has been in this location for almost 20 years which I find strange.
Excellent doctor! Very thorough and always takes the time to put my granddaughter at ease no matter what she is having done. Staff is great too. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Gadea and the office staff are the best!!! My son has autism and he is non verbal and the doctor is very patient with him. The office staff is very quick when I needed certain documents. We recently moved out of state and we had to find a new pediatrician for our son which was very difficult because we loved Dr. Gadea.
Not able to get an appointment. The hotline is horrible. Had three different peoples on the line. One question, two minutes waiting to tell me after thirty minutes that no appointment is possible. Why does it take three peoples and thirty minutes to tell that? The doctor can be great but with that hotline it isn't worth trying...
Dr. Gadea is an incredible pediatrician. She's kind, professional, thorough and a decidedly adept physician. The level of personalized care and expertise she provides our daughter is unparalleled. We wouldn't trust any other doctor for our daughter's pediatric health needs. Highly recommend!
Dr. Gadea is by far the best doctor for my kiddos!!! She's kind, personable, takes time with you to answer any questions you have and explaining anything you want to know in detail! I literally love her! Her staff is also very friendly & professional! Office always clean and they have great covid check in procedures to ensure no unnecessary contact with others!
We love Dr. Gadea and her office staff. They really care about my daughter. Dr. Gadea always gives solid advice and her staff are very friendly and helpful.
We love Dr. Gadea She is the best!?
We love Dr Gadea. ?
We LOVE Dr. Gadea! My daughter has been seeing her for 9 years and we have never had a problem. My daughter qualifies for FL Kid Care, but since Dr. Gadea doesn't accept this, I have opted to put her on my insurance so that we can continue to see her. This is an extra $200+ I pay monthly now, but we wouldn't see anyone else. We always get in quickly, and the staff is super friendly.
