Office staff are very attentive and professional.Dr. Roth is absolutely the best!
Dr Roth is amazing!
Dr Roth has been informative during my visits and presents with a calming demeanor. He has recently performed a successful back surgery on me and I am confident as I am now seeing him for other spine concerns.
Dr. Roth is extremely conservative when it comes to opting for surgery. He is very thorough at gathering medical imaging and exploring many other options to address the cause of pain, disc degeneration, and bone spurs that continue to plague my spine. The only drawback to his plan is the slow process of trying various methods to find an alternate procedure that would successfully cure my pain and the suffering I must endure in order to avoid a surgical fusion that I can never undo. So, Dr. Roth always has my best interest at heart, never for his own gain.
Outstanding, professional, thorough A+++
My rating is based on overall experience . I went to see Dr Patrick Roth for a second opinion and decided to continue my treatment with him. He listened to my complaints and wasn't dismissive of my symptoms. He was reassuring and I felt confident moving forward with him being an experienced and highly recommended neurosurgeon. My disappointment came when I didn't hear back from his office staff about scheduling a procedure. 2 mths had passed after my initial follow up call. Procedure wasn't scheduled and I'm not sure who is to blame . I felt like his staff wasn't knowledgeable in handling and expediting my claim under PIP or maybe he is just a Dr and office who doesn't want to be bothered with paperwork but then I should have been informed of that when we discussed if he would work with my car insurance co. & procedures . I left messages with many of his staff requesting office manager's number with no return call.After over 2 wks of talking in circles I'm extremely dissatisfied and don't understand what happened. Moving on so I can receive needed treatment.11 weeks after my in person appointment with Dr Roth & Four weeks going in circles with the administrative staff I received a phone call. I was promised that scheduling would move forward that was three days ago. Regardless, of who the problem is with It was not communicated to me immediately. There was a problem with scheduling due to PIP. I had to follow up..The professionals should be doing their jobs . Another week of me having to follow up call the office still nothing scheduled so I've scheduled an appointment & will be getting the treatment I need. Extremely dissatisfied as a patient.

Dr. Roth and his Team are outstanding. Whenever I'm in the office, I am made to feel as if I'm the only patient in the office which of course is not true, but their concern for my well-being was evident.I had cervical spine surgery by Dr. Roth, and I was up and home the next day. The gentleman is not only a gifted surgeon, but a kind man who spends whatever time it takes to understand my problem and to explain what needs to be done. This is just unheard of in healthcare today.Lastly, I want to recognize his staff, especially Michele Lugo, whose cutomer service skills are exemplary. Everyone of his staff were professional, attentive and kind.
Pat may be an excellent doctor but his administration is terrible. In summary: 1 month to get an appointment, appt was 30 mins behind schedule. Agreed on getting an MRI. No followup from office on getting the MRI order. I told them that I would pay for the MRI so I did not need to wait for insurance coverage. 1 week later I call and ask what is going on. They said they will send the order via email. Never sent. Called again got vmail. Was told the admin would call back. Never got a call back. Called again and the admin said they would send. Finally received it.Had the MRI ( another 1 week and a half ). Two days later still nothing from the Dr. Called again had to leave voice mail. Got a call back 4 hours later and was told the Dr would be able to tele-conference on the results 31 days from then. When I said that was unacceptable, I was put on hold and was told of time that was 15 days forward and that the time was tentative.This is how this operation handles patients. I am the CEO of my company and have held every operational role. If I ran my business this way we would not have a single client.Know what you are getting into. The consultation and initial xray with the Doc was great but when someone is in pain and looking for guidance waiting months at a time is irresponsible.UPDATEI did finally review MRI with Pat and I read his book. I think he is super balanced and helpful when discussing options. Again, like I said at the start of this review. An excellent doctor. However, his administration is what it its.
The absolute worst experience. After looking at my MRI he said the only thing that would help me was surgery for l4-l5. Unfortunately I agreed to let him do it. He did not do any testing before surgery The surgery was a total failure, there was no fusion and screws were “grossly loose”. The pain was much worse after surgery than it had been before. To add insult to injury I never saw the Doctor after my surgery, he didn’t even have the courtesy to show up for the telemedicine conference that was scheduled by his office. After waiting over 3 hours I called the office and told them I was going to find a Doctor who cared because this doc just doesn’t cut it. I found an amazing surgeon who did all kinds of testing to know what was going on. I am now 6 months post op and doing great.
