Staff and Doctors are very friendly and caring.
Dr. Tolbert was very knowledgeable and thorough.
Yes, Doctor Tolbert was very nice & very confident with what he explained to me & what the outcome should be.
Dr. Tolbert listens and so better understands what is going on and is able to correctly diagnose and treat his patients. I never felt rushed or that may needs were not serious or important. Because of this, my surgery and recovery have been very successful! Thank you Dr. Tolbert and staff for your great patient care,
They are very friendly, Liz, Rachel and Jessica are always looking for a way to help you. Dr. Marshall Tolbert is a great surgeon and a great person. Thanks to him my life changed and I can live a life without pain.
All involved have been great at what they have done.
The whole staff is friendly knowledgeable and attentive
Straight forward in a Good way, discussed my MRI in DETAIL so that I understood EXACTLY what I was looking at. Described All of my options in detail as well. I left the office with "HOPE". I've been suffering & trying to get help for the past 7 months. I'll have relief within 3 week's! Thanks to Dr. Tolbert.
I was first referred t Dr Jay Morgan I the same group. He referred me to Dr Tolbert. He is a saint. I met with Dr Tolbert. He showed me the upper spine—fairly normal. The lower view was shocking. They scheduled my surgery for the end of that month. In surgery Dr Tolbert discovered that it was more extensive then the MRI showed. The stenosis covered L3, L4, and L5. Also there was an adhesion that required stitching and gluing. Although I was weak and spent about 52 days in a rehab facility (which was excessive), the excruciating pain that had radiated down both legs was gone almost immediately. Dr Tolbert had said that a laminectomy was 90% effective. For me it was 100%.
I went to see Dr Tolbert a year ago with pain in my back. At that time he prescribed an X-ray and MRI. I had several follow up appointments with support staff. I was given epidural injections which helped my back but I continued to experience pain and became weaker on my left side. I had extreme pain in my knee and hip. My complaints were dismissed and I was told it’s not my back and that I was not a surgical candidate. The NP he pawned me off on suggested I change my diet and referred me to a bariatric surgeon without discussing it with me. Very unprofessional. I subsequently went to another physician who discovered I need a hip replacement. I was in pain for a year because I was summarily dismissed. Worst experience with a doctor ever! He was so focused on his specialty, he wouldn’t look at other possible reasons for my pain.
