I can't say enough amazing things about the staff at this hospital. I went into the ER and ended up having a 3 day stay in the cardiac unit due to a heart spasm. Everyone there was incredible. They took such great care of me around the clock and they did it with a great attitude no matter how busy they got. Any worries I had they eased by explaining exactly what was going on and what my current condition was. I came out of there in great shape and with piece of mind that I was ok. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone there. I truly appreciate your care, support, bad jokes haha and your professionalism. Thank you again to everyone who was there for me in the ER and the cardiac unit.

The nurses in the ER are extremely rude and unprofessional. Do not waste your time here, spend the extra 1015 minutes in severe pain to go to a different hospital. I promise you it's worth it.

This review is for the Blood Donation Center. When entering, I was approached with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Yolanda (or Yolandi) checked me in and got me taken care of promptly. Granted it was not busy and I was the only donor, the staff provided great conversation and made me feel comfortable. For donating, I got a movie ticket, postdonation snacks, vitamins and volunteer hours (how cool). I look forward to my next donation and appreciate how well they take care of their donors.

Saddleback had a emergency patient come in arriving in an ambulance with tingling in arm's and her bloodpresure was over 200/118! They didn't do the necessary diagnostic tests! Released her with bloodpresure medicine.. I'd never advise anyone with extreme bloodpresure or simtons of a heart attack to go there...

I was having chest pain, shortness of breath, and cough that was worsening. I went in there knowing I was COVID negative. My vitals were normal, but was feeling very tight and coughing nonstop. I had been using a inhaler at home, but wasn't really helping. I went in hoping maybe a steroid for my lungs would help. I was initially told an EKG would be done, was never done. The triage nurse also said it sounded like I needed a treatment. I was tested for COVID, it was negative. The doctor stood outside my room, chatted with me and said "your vitals look good, you don't appear in respiratory distress" not once did anyone listen to my heart or lungs. They did do a chest Xray to make sure there wasn't pneumonia. I was sent home with cough medicine with codeine. And I am still coughing and extremely winded after doing the smallest things. Won't go back there ever!

I went for a mammogram in 2015 and 2016.  They said it was all clear, good to go.   I went back in 2018 and they told me they need to do a biopsy.   They determined it was a small early stage one cancer and all I would need is a lumpectomy.   No chemo or radiation.   I had the surgery/lumpectomy and went back for a follow up check up.   They said the made a mistake and I have stage three breast cancer and I need another surgery (mastectomy) and aggressive chemotherapy and radiation.   I'm dumbfounded as to how they missed it the prior year and then misdiagnosed it completely.   The radiologist messed up and so did my oncologist.   They seemed very busy and focused on the medical trials they were conducting and insurance billing more than me as a patient.   I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

After a serious fall ended up in the ortho wing in the middle of the Coronavirus crisis. Couldn't have picked a worse time to end up in the hospital!

Not having been any hospital before, I have no frame of reference, but the nurses were wonderful. With one exception.

This hospital killed my mother. November 2019. It took me 7 mos to write this review to make sure that I'm in a good state of mind. The doctors and nurses in her care had the worst judgment and neglected her. My mom would still be here. I can't wait for this hospital to get shut down and for the staff to face jail time. Please do not go to this hospital.

DO NOT GO HERE. i have never experienced this amount of unprofessional behavior and belittlement  from a nurse (JULIE) in my entire life.

My friend and i came here to be tested for corona virus because we have been in contact with MULTIPLE people who have tested positive. We were bombarded with numbers of $4000 for a test and rudely telling us that we're fine and shouldn't worry as long as we're not living with cancer patients
We have good PPO insurance, not sure why that is immediately brought up before anything else (our wellbeing??)
We had been to another testing site in Westminster early in the day but they were full. The rapid testing there was only $150.

Another friend was actually tested there she is high risk diabetic and they told her she was a bad diabetic ( because she drank alcohol), refused to let her leave when she learned about the possibility of a $4000 bill.

The nurse was upset about an influx of people from Newport and thought those people told us to come there (why would that be a bad thing?)

They belittle us, laughed at us, and we're blatantly rude to us

I'm in awe that these are the people who are supposed to be protecting our health in a crisis.

This review is for the Blood Donor Center! I cannot say enough positives for these exceptional employees! I've only been donating for less then a year but I will continue to come back every 56 days! I was not initially comfortable with the idea of a needle in my arm but the phlebotomists and nurses are so kind and caring, they make the process so easy! The phlebotomists are absolute pros, zero pain with the needle and very attentive during the blood draw and post draw! I actually volunteer for the Red Cross, but they'll only ever get my time because my blood belongs to Saddleback Memorial!
