I have been a patient of Dr. Buxbaum and the whole practice for many years. The doctor spends time to discuss all concerns. Of note is the exceptional follow up by nurses/admins. No need to try to track down test results or prescriptions.. the team is proactive and always available. The only issue I have is that I wish Dr Buxbaum could be My primary physician.
She is great, incredibly thorough and attentive to detail, along with being a warm, nice person. She was able to identify a non-gyn related condition I had based on a thorough physical exam and sent me to appropriate specialist.
Very professional and cares about her patients. I definitely recommend her to my friends.
Kind and gentle, spent time with me. Great advice on HRT.
Energetic, interested, smart, competent in a caring group practice with MDs and nurse practitioners. Treats women of all ages. Been seeing her for 7 years.
Terrible experience with birth of my son.She left in placenta I was badly infected. Both me and the baby went into distress. Emergency c section. One star because we are alive and well.
I went to see Dr. Buxbaum at Downtown Women OBGYN recently. Here are the positives - she is a menopause expert and will take her time talking about your options. Here are the negatives - Dr. Buxbaum could not be reached via the patient Portal or over the phone (when I had an unexpected break through bleeding lasting for days). When she finally answered me a week later, I found out that the practice is extremely understaffed. She explained that "their Pandemic parameters" do not require an answer unless it's an emergency (i.e. labor related issues, etc). Ladies, make your own decisions, but I do not agree or accept this "new normal" from an OBGYN. I quickly found another provider who will call back with your test results and answer your concerns within 24-48 hours. Same as any other GYN I had in the past. I encourage you to do the same.

Great doctor, her business is horrendous and has been for years. I always hope it's going to get better. But I have to stop going to her now because the last time was too much. Was put on hold forever, then I went to website, it didn't work, then couldn't get an appt for months so they gave me at appt with someone else who they failed to mention wasn't a doctor, but a nurse practitioner. It was horrible. Do not go to anyone at the Downtown obgyn clinic, it's not worth it

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
