This is probably one of the worst emergency rooms you can go to in the city. Most nurses are petty, and uncaring. Sub par service. I was in the emergency room for 3 days so I was able to see how they operate.
This it’s the worse hospital I ever been in my life… they will have you waiting for hours and hours to than tell you the doctor has left or that you need to wait more hours. I brought the situation up to The supervisor which he claimed he was going to look for my doctor after 30mins I decided to asked the staff which they told me he had left…. All I can say is please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.
Worst hospital ever. The doctors stand around while the patients wait for hours. You try to get their attention and they ignore you. I was here from 5am-1pm and all I got done was a cat scan and some blood work. And within that time plus after I never received any results or update on my situation. If your life is in danger please DO NOT COME HERE.
They need to be improved more .they work very slowly and they should be more helpful .actually gained a bad experience here!!!
I’ve came to the pediatric emergency at 10 am,My baby has a fever of 100.4.It is now 11:43, The waiting room is FULL of children and babies coughing sneezing and crying, and only 3 people have been called! Lady at triage told me they only calling those with actual emergency!!!This is the WORST emergency EVER!There’s 1 person at registration and 1 triage and they are SUPER SLOW
Horrible place to get covid tested . Staff skip patients unorganized unsanitary expect to wait in line over 3 hrs which is understandable to wait that long in line but denying a rapid home kit for children to take home instead having them wait in line with you 3+ hrs . is unacceptable and employees should be held accountable for such thing. Go to Montefiore better!!
Don't go here ... Brought my 5 month old and instead of caring for him they asked me to close the door because he was crying and disturbing them while they were having conversations and blamed it on covid ... Yet their receptionist was coughing up a storm in the pediatric ER! Then when I asked if there was more than one doctor working since my child had a high fever and they were having conversations, they said they couldn't do anything until their head doctor saw him... They made it seem as if nurses aren't capable of doing their job until a doctor was there unbelievable. Their side conversations critizing babies crying tells me they shouldn't work in pediatrics ... Run go anywhere but here the reviews are right.
Today 12/30/21 was my daughter’s regular appointment 10 am .. one of front desk lady her name jessica she was so rude and behaved like ….. !! I don’t know the hospital they’re pay them or they work for hospital only for bad behavior with people.. not only with me I saw she talk with everyone very rudely… my appointment was building no-8 1st floor 1A
Dr. Judy and her team at urology department of Jacobi are the best souls in medical practice. They literally saved my Dad’s life. They run tight and challenging schedules with joy and human feelings. I don’t usually write reviews but in this, I’m compiled to share this experience and thank the team for their love and superb experience. Grateful heart from 2019 experience.
The staff are horrible honestly, they don't keep the testing center open to 4 anymore, it's 3 and I had to learn that, the hard way. I wouldn't recommend getting tested here. It's more of a hassle than the results are worth. They also do the actual testing in what looks like an old psych ward or elderly housing and there's a smell of death in the air. It's just all around bad.
The worst emergency staff ever. Tough nurses and they really just do the tings without understanding if the patient need or not or have to or not they let my sister go home and screening and can’t walk or stand even not telling me to come to orthopedic clinic just want to discharge people and we discovered hip fracture they do not care about the patient symptoms or pain as long as the X-ray does not show anything. I hope in future to make ER superior to check patients case and be on top of ER doctors and nurses and to teach them how to deal with patient as a patient tired and needs care
This is the worst hospital, they only know how to get money from you, I came on Monday, November 22 for a stomach ache, I came back on Friday, 26 with the same pain, the nurses, you ask for help and they do not answer, they only care about getting the money safe
Appointment says 20 mins I’m here for shots for my 7months old came at 1:20pm and it’s 4pm now still here they don’t need pediatric they have the kids waiting so long no food no snack tried crying if Covid is still here why the babies not in and out 3 hrs for a 7 month old clothes on off back and forth it’s annoying
I was there with my gf in emergency, waited 6 hours before they call us, after they call us we waited 4 more hours , saw a poor guy who dislocated his shoulder force to write things and give his insurance before they send someone to see him, a pregnant lady was in labor waiting for help, had to wait because her information was missing,horrible place to be if you're injured or dying.
STAFF IS EXTREMLY RUDE. OPERATORS BOUNCE PHONE CALLS BACK AND FORTH AND NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO DIRECT CALLS TO THE RIGHT PLACE. WHO EVER DOES THE HIRING REALLY DOES NOT KNOW THE TYPE OF RUDE PEOPLE THEY HAVE REPRESENTING THE HOSPITAL. THE ATTITUDE WITH EACH OPERATOR IS CRAZY.
Dentistry here is a joke. why give an appointment time when they don't see you until 2 or 3 hours later. my son only had a follow up appointment and made him wait so long to be seen. Bozos working here
My husband was in the oncology unit--a step down unit with 12 beds and one nurse for every 4 patients. The RN's were outstanding, warm and compassionate. The aides on days and evenings were marvelous. The medical team (doctors) were responsive and ready to explain the issues. They resolved medical problems that NYU Langone could not. Overall, I was quite satisfied with his stay.Also, the ER docs and staff were excellent! He came in with extreme low BP and the staff were able to stabilize him quickly. The ER has a well deserved excellent reputation.I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the night shift did not honor his request to sleep through the night/morning on one occasion. When I arrived that afternoon, he was EXTREMELY upset about it. He told me they were rude and quite mean to him.The hospital restaurant offered fresh food. Alas, I did kill a roach while waiting for my salad.

I must give this hospital a 5 star rating! From the doctor to the staff ,ALL of them worked with my son and us as a TEAM! Doctor Ntigbu Fimbar,Rhadica and Doctor Rodriguez are the best of the best in there! All of them took our concerns seriously, and answered our calls day and night. When my son was discharged, his clothes were washed and dried. Even when he was discharged, Doctor Ntigbu gave him extra ensures for fortification! To top it off, this team do not leave their patients out on their own when discharge, they have a program an intensive outpatient program that can continue to assist those with mental health issues.. Once again, we thank you for your care and support!! Much love
