The worst hospital ever . I went in for spotting during pregnancy and the doctor called his self doing a pelvic examination and just stop and told me to walk next door in see my obgyn. The nurse Tara Rn was so horrible and inconsiderate she was not concerned at all about me or my unborn child she stayed at the front nurses desk while I was in the on emergency room in labor and delivery laughing with other nurses as my monitors was off my baby over 10 mins and she could see that from the desk but took her time to come adjust them. I will not be delivering my baby comes March here at this hospital.
The service in the Emergency Room was good, however, trying to pay the bills has been exceedingly painful. We paid the bills once, just to have the payment returned, then told we didn’t owe anything, and the next day received a stack of 6 letters from a collection agency, then paid the bill again, and a couple weeks later received bills again. Part of the confusion was the fact that the 800 number to call only handles the hospital bills and not the Doctors. But the bills themselves don’t tell you from which entity it’s from, but they expect you to know this detail. In the last conversation with them, I told them that this needs to be clearly defined, and that paying the bills had become more painful that what we went to the ER for in the first place.
My grandfather has been neglected this entire time. We have been lied to by the nurse staff on numerous occasions concerning his care, he is hardly checked on, every time I see him his bed is totally soaked through, he's nearly been given medication that will kill him, he fell out of bed recently and was laughed at by the nurse staff😮 and out of the nine days that he's been on the 6th floor he's received therapy three times. I know to the hospital he's just another elderly person, but he is everything to our family and for him to be humiliated like this is just not right.Another concerning thing is the fact that I was almost arrested by the ER staff when my grandfather had called me panicking, wanting me to be there with him and needed his glasses brought to him(mind you it was after 7:00 p.m.) when I told them that my grandfather who is 87 years old needs me to be with him and they refused I still told them I was going in and that's when they threatened to arrest me.It doesn't matter what time it is, if a family member needs another they should be allowed in.Shame on Arlington memorial hospital.
I'm a New Mexico resident passing through when i became extremely sick to the point I couldn't breath. I checked in the ER and wow the nurse (Valerie p) was an absolutely inconsiderate person. Extremely rude from the very minute she walked in. I honestly felt like I wasn't"white" enough. She immediately starting talking down to me like I was unable to understand basic information. I came in because I was having issues breathing, so when she had me take medicine and I starting breathing extremely heavy and couldn't catch my breath. She makes a scene telling me what's wrong with you, in all my years I've never seen someone breath like that you need to stop and sit down. If my health wasn't what it was, that conversation would have went extremely different. People like that give the entire hospital a bad name. I come through here alot and I tell you what, I'll AVOID this hospital at all costs. I'm 31 years old and I've never been treated like that. DEFINITELY DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
Literally the worse hospital I ever been too ! Under staff at its finest and there is no 6 feet distance. Have a plastic board in between chairs. This is not a children hospital take your kid to cooks instead !
Don’t recommend giving birth here, had my son here and they put the wrong address to mail his stuff to now I have to do all this extra to get my sons social security like wow 👎🏻
My other review disappeared so I'll write it again. Don't go here if you have Covid 19 emergency. Drive to Dallas or Fort Worth. My mom begged me for water when I finally got to see her in ICU. The Dr ordered no water and her lips were dry and chapped. The nurse said she was going to kick me out because I was questioning this. They did not give her an IV or feeding tube either when she was unable to drink for herself. Apparently this is the treatment for pneumonia according to the"Dr". They lied to us -her family, about what they would do.
Fantastic experience since we pulled up at ER door and struggled to get 93 y o relative out of car, a lady appeared with a wheelchair. Experience throughout has been just as wonderful. Checkin lady, ER doctors nurses techs case managers all **super** kind as well as capable!!! I was floored! Of course no experience is perfect - maybe a small slip in communication - but minor and quickly and eagerly fixed. Admitted to orthopedic unit. We love and are grateful for the techs, nurses, cleaning folks, food providers - all were attentive and kind. Everyone takes their job seriously. Also proactive - a tech saw that the bed sensor wasn’t picking up my relative trying to get out of bed - and immediately got a new bed with more modern (and accurate) sensor and moved him right next to nurses station. We’re still in hospital. We’re so grateful and relieved during this hard, scary time. Thank you!!!
My mother passed away from complications due to Covid 19. The doctors and charge nurse, supervising nurse did not show much concern and compassion for our family. The charge nurse told me, it was policy to contact the family if the health status of my mother changed. I was told by one of the staff,, black people are treated differently. They made us feel like another statistic , business as usual. Only two great nurses did make us feel comfortable which includes a respiratory nurse . They walked and talked us through my mother entire stay. There was a traveling nurse ( over night) who's name I do have . Never called us when my mom had an heart attacked and was stabilized. We were informed the morning after. Later was told she didn't have one. This hospital has lied and covered up and has yet to apologize, call , write to my family or anything! I believe this hospital failed my mother in so many was. I really hate my mother was ever transported here.
It's difficult to get into due to packed parking lot. The experience at the hospital was pretty bad. That may be due to staffing problems But it really can have a negative effect on opations experience.
The emergency room doctor was rude.! The wait was obsessive.
I was scheduled to be induce for an entire week. I had 2 prior hospital visits because i was in pain, back hurting and Contracting closely for 2 days straight and already 2CM but my water just would not break. They sent me home both days in a row. Now here today is Friday and my induction was supposed to be at 4:30am. Mind you i have planned and set everything up because i do Have 2 other young children and also work and have a lot of other things that i hAd to plan for. They had no regard for any of that and I’m really upset. They call me around 2:40am to tell me unexpected other patients came in so they will call me at 7am to give me a different time to come in. At this point I am already awake and getting ready to meet my baby girl.Well they are unprofessional it’s now 9:00am and still no call with an update on when i will Be induced. I definitely At this point don’t want to have my baby here anymore and wish i would have chosen medical city of Arlington or Dallas instead of this hospital. This was my first experience and i would Not recommend choosing this hospital for anything. For my future kids they will not be a choice of mine to have kids there.
I just spent 4 weeks at Memorial. Every person there is an awesome professional! And an angel! They’re super positive, and they know what they're doing. And I mean that sincerely. Every one of them. You folks rock. Thank you so much for the care you provide all your patients. God bless all of you!It was super organized from the emergency room check-in until the day I left. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was the "processes" they followed. I really believe that any illness should be between the doctor and the patient, not "the doctor has to follow the hospital's rules no matter what" process. And the food was good too! 😊
This place has horrible customer service. I'm Active Duty military with a Tricare referral to see a provider there and the lady in the scheduling department was horrible. She is asking me for codes and etc like I'm a medical provider. Simply put, military referrals only have authorization numbers, diagnosis and and the contact information of the referred provider. I'm sure Tricare faxed them a copy when it was emailed to me a week ago. It's like she wanted me to do her job! Oh well, I'll just get another provider who appreciates their patients.
Apparently, their dumpsters have run out of space, because they're illegally dumping trash at the complex I live at.
Worst NICU in history. If you know your baby is going to be a preemie or end up on the NICU run!!! They have some great nurses but also some very rude disrespectful nurses. Doctor Scott Tisdell is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with when it comes to babies. He has no respect for the parents. He only knows how to boast and brag about how much experience he has. He does nothing to help the babies thrive. His 18th century way of doing things makes no sense. This NICU does not acknowledge the NICU parents bill of rights. They do every thing in their power to interfere with bonding time with baby and the parents. I see nothing but insurance fraud with this NICU. They will keep babies as long as they can to collect as much insurance as possible. There’s no love and passion in caring for the babies and what’s best for them. This NICU is all about the dollar. The doctors and the nurses are not on the same page. You are told one thing one minute and something different the next day. Doctor Scott Tisdell needs to be investigated and released of his duties involving those babies. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never allow my baby go back to this NICU.
Outstanding heart hospital
I had a wonderful visit to the ER last Friday they took great care of me and gave me meds to come home with due to having pneumonia. I have not gotten better and was simply trying to call back to inform them I didn’t receive one of the prescription medicines sent. The ER lady hung up on me 3 times on purpose knowing very well who I was because I would not stop calling. When she finally spoke with me she told me i could not talk to anyone about this matter which i found extremely ridiculous. Get better employees.
This is absolutely TERRIBLE no rooms are available, the nurse that you speak with initially is rude as hell, were stuffed in the waiting room like sardines, they won’t answer any questions. No one is 6 feet apart.. this is awful.. they just have patients everywhere..I would’ve been better off at jps
IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS HOSPITAL PLEASE DO! Everyone here acts as if they are not part of a team, no communication between them, spend 4 days here and it was terrible from day 1, they all blame each other, when is shift change time the nurse going out don't care about things no more, and the one coming in keeps blaming the last one for half of the shift, THIS HOSPITAL IT'S A SHAME.They all act as a independent provider, and I meant everyone! Doctors, nurses, x-ray techs, lab techs.I been to many hospitals and have never seen such thing.(Don't waste your time asking me to contact you, I'm not ever going back to this place, spend that time fixing the mess you have at station 33)
