Easy appointments and minimal wait time

I always go to Kinder Pediatric urgent care, but I would like to recognized that with now the new normality with Covid ..it's hard to find a place where they want to see you in person and really check the patient even your own pediatrician. Consequently, Yesterday we had a really good, professional and care service at this facility starting with the lady at the front desk, who was very attentive and answered all my questions; to the gentleman/ nurse who was concerned about my son and performed all the tests needed very professional, kind and promptly. Lastly, Doctor Amy who gave us all the explanations without rushing, who really checked my son and found out what was needed for a proper treatment. Thumbs up for all the staff and this facility in Totowa.

This place is the worst. One of the nurses did a covid test on my child once and made him bleed. The doctor had no patience for my child and also was very rough. Wouldn’t recommend this place, try PM pediatrics!

Insane waiting hours (2 hours with a sick child!!) after repeatedly checking and calling prior to visiting. I will avoid this location if I have an option. The staff kept calling people who were not in the queue ahead of us prolonging the frustration. The overall experience was subpar. This was a PRETTY BAD.

Professional and quick!!

Staff was super helpful. Fast service. Waited in my car until it was our turn to be seen. Even on new years eve when people were scrambling to get tested! Friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

I absolutely loved my recent experience at Kinder Pediatrics in Totowa, NJ. A few years ago I was a patient myself (in the Iselin, NJ location) and I absolutely loved the prompt service. Now I recently took my 14 month old to the new Totowa, NJ location and the service here was as amazing as I can remember. To the moment you walk in till the moment you leave it’s an amazing experience. First when you walk in you are greeted by an exceptionally sweet receptionist who hands you a tablet to do the check in; while doing the check in the waiting room is equipped with toys for your little ones and they seem really clean. In all the rooms starting from the waiting room there are movies playing on tv which kept my son very entertained. Also I also love how sweet the doctors are; one of my favorite doctors there is Dr.Figen she is the sweetest doctor you will ever meet i have a lot of love and respect for her, also my son loves her! We saw Dr. Rai yesterday (11/26/17) and we instantly clicked as if I known him for years; and as a mom to me personally the parent/ doctor relationship is extremely important. I highly recommend this office to any parent who wants prompt and exceptional service. Thank you to the team at Kinder Peds; this is one happy mommy!!!Edit: 11/5/21 This WAS a great urgent care. Things since have changed the receptionists are rude and hang up on you when you call or make you feel like an idiot. What happened Kinderpeds…do better.

I’ve been to this place twice, and I’ve had the same experience. First of all, coming in first doesn’t guarantee you will be seen first, as one would expect, first come first serve. The last two times, they took care of the people that came behind me first. If your receptionist sends the email for registration to the person behind you first, they will be seen before you regardless of the fact that you were first in line.Secondly, this is the only place that charges you for a Covid test. Every place I’ve been to has had free Covid testing, with a doctor following up for questions afterwards. They said the doctor wouldn’t see us if we didn’t pay the copay. As it results, my daughter had Covid, and the doctor barely examined her. I had to request it!!! Why did I pay the $15 copay - just to be told my daughter was Covid positive.I agree with every bad review on here. Yes, the place can be half empty, and they move extremely slow. Once you’re in the waiting room, you’ll wait some more. It’s just not worth the aggravation. Go elsewhere. There’s a reason it’s dead when the other places are swamped.

My husband took my daughter waited 3 hours to be told oh we removed her from the Que because we called you phone 5 times and no one answered. Really because my call log has no calls from your office so who did you call. Also told my husband they refunded my copay well I got the email that my copay was made but no refund email. Horrible!!

This place is terrible with covid results. They don’t call and when you call no one to answer your calls. Just terrible

The girl on the front and the guy on the front for the reception are outstanding they have so much patient an answer all the question even though it was super busy thank you 😊

horrible response time, I did a PCR last Friday (a week from now) and till now i call everyday and leave messages for anyone to call me back to know the lab result, no one called back during the past 7 days.The medical visit was good

From sickness to sprains and even Covid testing I am so grateful for Kinder Pediatrics! We have been coming here for years and they're always accommodating and do their best to be as quick as possible. Great staff and doctors.

Doctor flores is the best he took his time checking and making sure my daughter got better I love his dedication and that he loves his job I def feel more comfortable to come back if we need to.,thank you so much

Very good and smooth experience, we were lucky wait time was only 20 minutes, doctor sweet and attentive to my 4 year old son. He is already feeling better. Thank you!

If you go anywhere else you're missing out. I've never been to a place that genuinely cares as a whole. All the nurses doctors and workers have most respect and are pleasant to be around. When the doctor came in after her swamped busy day she still took her time to explain and really help us understand what was wrong. She was also very good with my 2 year old daughter who is terrified of doctors. While leaving my baby said "I like Doctors". Please, bring your young children here. THE ONLY ISSUE WAS THE WAIT WHICH WAS ABOUT 2 HOURS. But, we were able to wait in the car and there is an apple bees 100ft down the road 👍🏼
