These folks are great !. They are the only place we will use for a day surgery clinic. My son just had his second eye surgery there and they are very professional and very kind at the same time. I wouldn't feel comfortable anywhere else. The nurses are amazing

Have your doctor use another surgical center if at all possible! The medical staff was great to worth with; however, the administrative side turned everything into an extremely stressful experience for our entire family before and after the procedure (which is already an extremely stressful experience under the best of circumstances). Before the surgery we asked for an itemized estimate and was not able to get one. They then asked to be paid several thousand dollars within 72 hours before the procedure. Afterward, we find out from our insurance company that Alaska Surgery Center attempted to overcharge us by a lot of money when pressuring us to pre-pay right before surgery for an amount that they wouldn’t breakdown for us when previously asked. Maybe ours was a one-off experience; however, there is no way to know which is why I will try to warn everyone I know to watch out or use another facility to avoid the predatory billing practices that we experienced.

Just had a procedure don’t hear yesterday and I have to say this facility along with its staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and super helpful from the time I walked through the front doors and was brought out of them! I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs any kind of procedure/ surgery. You will not be disappointed. To the staff: thank you for making my visit so easy and stress free!

They don't answer the phone. Is that a sign?

Surgery went well. The Nurses took great care of me. I'm an incredibly anxious person and they did everything they could to keep me calm before and after my procedure. I had little no pain waking up, which was quite a shock considering what I had done. If you are nervous about having surgery, I'd suggest doing it at Alaska Surgery Center. The whole process was simple and lowkey.

The staff here is helpful, happy, and cheerful. From first walking in you'll notice a nice and spacious waiting area. The front desk receptionist was very helpful when checking in. Everyone he is friendly and will joke back with you - made me relax even more before surgery. Everything is done efficiently here and everything is discussed thoroughly making sure you understand. The facility is about a year old and has been kept very cleaned and maintained. I'm not saying I want to go through another surgery, but if I do I hope my surgeon using this facility.

I had a great experience at this facility. The anesthesiologist was the best I have ever had! I have a problem with nausea and vomiting. The doctor and and the nurses worked some magic voodoo and for the first time ever I left not wanting to vomit on the way home. My surgeon Dr Ellerby was also fantastic. Out patient recovery is a process. This facility doctors and nurses made the first part of the process as painless as possible.

Very nice building, feels welcoming, professional, and business oriented. The people were warm and inviting. Exactly what you want to walk into when undergoing a surgery. I dropped someone off.
