List of Ben Lee Md's Reviews
Once I was able to get another doctor I left. But I was stuck for about 7 years. She dismissed my concerns and symptoms and did not listen. I suffered without medication for hyperthyroidism for years as she waited until it was over 7 on the scale. I was desperate with symptoms by the time I got any meds at all. I also had a strange set of sumts that seemed unrelated. And was dismissed. After three years of suffering I self diagnosis gluten intolerance and cut gluten. Within two weeks I was better and two sizes smaller, off the Tylenol for headaches and off the hydrocortisone cream for odd rashes and my Bowles settled down. Finding an opening at another doctor was great. She immediately increased my meds and watched my liver enzymes get settled after the gluten fiasco.
Hi, I recently wrote a review about Dr. Lee on 5/5, the Title is Poor doctor, Dr. Lee contacted me and explained that was a miscommunication between my wife and her. Everything is straightened out. Is it possible to remove the review I wrote? if it can be done, please remove the review. Thank you. I can be reached at "pchangc@gmail.com"
I've never had a worse primary doctor in my life. I promise you, keep looking.
Giving one star is too much. The wait time with appointment is usually more than one hour. Bedside manner is poor, always in a rush. Patient has to call for blood result. This office reject refill request in order to make you visit office much frequently than necessary so they can bill on visit just for same medication that taken for years. Even you do visit the office, you still have hard time get refill, sometimes more than a week.
Does not return calls or emails. No one calls you about Blood Test result. Staff does not seem to care.
I've been a patient of Dr. Lee for over 8 years but I finally decided to find another doctor who can provide better medical support with more organized and friendlier office staff. The appointment waits are usually an hour or so long which I just do not understand. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you still have to wait that long sitting in the wait room? The staff has horrible attitude and not very helpful in guiding the process. Recently I came down with cold/flu symptoms that could be Covid-related, she did get back to be quick for a virtual appointment and had given the Covid-19 testing order. I needed more clarification on the procedure since I'm unfamiliar and no clear instructions on what my next step is. I tried to contact her office, the staff was rude and not helpful. She said just email the doctor and will get back to me. I did and still no word from the doctor. I usually do not write bad review but I hope Dr. Lee can improve on her service and office.
They constantly reject refill request in order to make you visit office much frequently than needed so they can bill on visit. Even you do visit the office, you still have hard time to get refill, sometimes more than a week. They do not response to Pharmacy calls, they poorly response to your email, when you call, they just take notes and high chances you won't get response at all, you have to keep on calling them, or even visit their office in person. There is always long waiting time, and they discharge you in quickly once you finally see the doctor.
I needed for find a new doctor due to insurance change. Dr. Lee was recommended and I couldn't be happier. Like the other reviews, she is extremely caring and patient and answers all questions in detail.
I have been Dr. Lee's patient for over 15 years. She is always very nice and patience. She will explain in details for every question you asked. The only comment for me is I have to wait for some times after my scheduled time.
She is a great doctor, resolved my problems after I visited several other doctors without solutions

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
