There was ZERO question of who I would see, should I find myself in this predicament. I have been a Med/surg nurse at Providence hospital taking care of mastectomy patients postoperatively for over 22 years. The same doctor comes to mind over and over through the years. For several reasons I choose Lauri Bleicher as the surgeon to deal with my new diagnosis. Her patients fair so well, we do not see them back for complication/infection and her processes/instructions for both the nurse and the patient/families are unparalleled. THAT is what you want to know and hear about your surgeon. Her outstanding reputation precedes her so much so that she needed even advertise I’m sure. The smartest doctors send their patients to her and past patients “know” and sing her praise. I don’t look forward to being on this side of the care but I know that my journey will be navigated thoughtful, kindly and competently with the hand of Dr. Bleicher.

She was wonderful n every way. The surgery went so well, and am recovering so well.

Donna is amazing and she fights for Dr. Bleicher’s patients. When I was over rude and disgusting businesses in my healthcare Donna was instrumental in making sure I had the best care. Dr. Bleicher is very precise and provides the best care. She is highly recommended by people in the profession. I am very grateful for Dr. Bleicher and her team. They are wonderful.

I cannot speak to the skill of the surgeon but I can say that the person who identified herself as Donna, the office manager was singularly the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. I need to have a lumpectomy and I can promise anyone reading this if her crude callousness is any indication of the medical care I would receive I'll move right along.

Whoever this Donna person is should absolutely NOT be in contact with humans. She was shockingly rude and I envisioned her helping me post-care and it is a resounding ABSOLUTELY NOT. The surgeon may be top notch but the first person you reach when you call the office sets the tone and this person was a huge red flag.

Dr. Bleicher and her staff have provided the best medical care. To hear the words you have cancer is terrifying. I was referred to her office in 2019 where we had a consultation to go over a medical plan. She was helpful, caring and informative. To be honest, I was an emotional train wreck☺️. Cancer will do that. I ended up getting several opinions from other facilities and clinics. I went to 2 different doctors in Anchorage and flew to the Mayo Clinic in AZ. Ultimately, my care was best in the hands of Dr. Bleicher. Her staff have been super helpful as well. I was faced with some billing issues outside of her office. The ladies here were quick to help. Thank you ladies!

Dr Bleicher is the best! I unfortunately have needed her services more than once. One thing I like about her is that she herself calls you...not a nurse. I think that personal touch adds a lot.

Dr. Bleicher was recommended to me, but when I called her office looking to schedule an appointment, the receptionist I believe she said her name is Jessica was extremely rude. Her voice was harsh and she had a very bad attitude. She should know that patients call there for serious reasons especially something like cancer. I found rudeness in her voice, and she always talk over me. When she talked over me, I didn't stop talking because I wanted her to stop talking and to listen to what I was saying, but my goodness, she kept on shooting her mouth off. Then after all that, she asked me and I quote "What kind of cancer do think you have, is it cancer or pre cancer"? Common now, what kind of stupid question was that? For one thing she was so rude, always talk over me, she didn't understand the whole thing because she didn't want to listen to what I was saying, instead, she shoot her mouth off, and then asked me this very stupid question. I told her that I made a mistake calling their office, and that she was very rude, and hung up.

Excellent doctor. Would highly recommend this doctor. Have been with this doctor for 24 plus years.
