Dr Chang and his team have provided outstanding support prior to, during surgery and post surgery. Dr Chang personally called to see how I was doing after the operation. Carissa, Emily and Stephanie as well as other support personnel have been extremely professional and helpful throughout my surgery.

Ray Tapp my hubby had total ankle replacement surgery Tuesday Jan 4, 2022. He was in a lot if pain before his surgery and limped around everyday. He looked forward to this day and felt so very confident with Dr Chang and his team with this replacement. The first nurse at the hospital put us at ease and got Ray all ready and the next team that came in to put the pain ball attachment stuff in was very professional. The anesthesia guy Brian was very helpful and then the surgery nurse hauled Ray away. My first call was a couple hours later from Dr Chang. Saying the surgery was a success and went very well. Then heard from the recovery room nurse. Everyone was so helpful and explained everything all the way through. He went into surgery at 10:30 and I picked Ray up at 2:15 pm. Everything went as we were told. Now Ray is on his way to recovery. Thanks to this great team under Dr Chang of OPA.

Dr. Chang grew up in Anchorage and lucky for all of us, has stayed to be a surgeon in Alaska. We are blessed to have him. I recommend Dr. Chang specifically, and OPA as a orthopedic provider.

I really enjoyed meeting with Dr. Chang. He is extremely personable and made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained everything to me in easy to understand terms, is knowledgeable and is a doctor that has a pronounced passion for his work. Hopefully i won't need any further orthopedic care for my ankle but if I do I would definitely choose Dr. Chang.
