I had surgery last week removing a large lipoma from my chest. Dr. Prasad and his team are complete professionals and show so much compassion. I had never had any procedure done and was nervous. Dr. Prasad is very calming, explaining everything and being up front about the possibilities. I hope to never need surgery again, but if I do I hope Dr. Prasad is available.

Update:I have used Dr. Prasad for 3 surgeries5/19/2020, 3/18/2021 and 5/17/202. I would highly recommend him and Dr. Johnson I would personally not use anyone else! On May 19 2020, I had Dr Parsad perform a colectomy on me. He is kind and knowledgeable, he will talk to you and give you all you need to have confidence in him.I feel he is very easy to work with and as I have at least one other surgery on the horizon I wish I was able to make home a permanent fixture on my medical team.

Far North Surgery and Dr. Sherry Johnson who I was referred to has an excellent reputation. It is a big stress reliever to know you are in capable hands with people who care about you, your surgery, and your recovery. The excellent reputation is well earned. I was referred to Dr. Sherry Johnson by my doctor in Homer. My doctor said she is the best and had several patients she referred who reported back that she was just excellent. This wasn’t an exaggeration. After the referral, I received a call the next day to set up a video conference with Dr. Johnson. She showed and explained my mammogram and ultrasound results. She drew me diagrams to show the type of breast cancer I had, and where it was located. I was so impressed how professional the video conference was. It was like I was sitting in the same room with her. In addition, her staff is caring and professional and wonderful to work with. I brought my adult daughter with me to the preop appt and Dr. Johnson drew diagrams so we both had a visual on what we needed to know. It helped ease any stress my daughter may have been experiencing because she knew I was in capable hands. Before going into surgery, Dr. Johnson rubbed my arm and said, “We’ll take good care of you.” And she did. She made time to see me a few days after surgery to make sure I was healing correctly. I am so thankful Dr. Sherry Johnson was my cancer surgeon! Thank you, Dr. Johnson!!❤️👍

The staff at FarNorth has gone above and beyond to help me. I have been having some major health issues that have reoccurred several times. The Doctor is the BEST!! At what he does I couldn’t ask for a better doctor to put my trust in.

Dr Prasad is the best surgeon you will find in his field of medicine & I say this because of his excellent expertise doing pancriatic surgery on me.In addition to his expertise, his personal relationship with his patients is exceptional.
