Geronimo Sahagun's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sahagun has been there for me for decades. He is always intent on my wellbeing and explains everything to me in the complete detail I appreciate. He is straightforward regarding his treatment recommendations and somehow always manages to be kind in the process. He makes himself more accessible to his patients than any doctor I have ever known and I am 80 so have known a lot He even provided lifesaving guidance to my daughter who loves overseas when she was struggling to find the best treatment for a difficult cancer. It is no exaggeration to say he saved her life long distance. I cannot recommend Dr. Sahagun highly enough.

He truly cares about his patients. I had hep C for 20 years before I became his patient. I went through all the many trials that were available. Then in 2015 the FDA approved Harvoni and it worked for me. I have been hepatitis free since then. I had it for 40 years so it messed up my liver pretty bad. I still see him and he still cares about how Im doing.

Dr Sahagun is great with his patients. He treats everyone with respect and is genuinely interested in what you have to tell him. He applauds your successes and guides your healthcare with expertise. Thanks for all you do Dr S

This office has a massive turnover of employees. So they cant keep your appointments or records straight. The most time I have received from him is 5 minutes your just a number.

Did not take time to answer my questions. Spent less than 5 minutes with me at my first appointment. Did not look at the referral that was sent from my primary care provider. Initially wanted to do a colonoscopy but what I really needed was an upper endoscopy. After bringing this to his attention ended up having the correct procedure done.

I came in for an upper endoscopy for hiatal hernia GERD symptoms and other digestive symptoms. I came into the office and the entire office staff as well as some of the nurses were sneezing and coughing with some kind of bug which was offputting. The procedure itself felt rushed without much time to discuss concerns or symptoms but went well with no major complications. However I was sedated with 100mcg of fentanyl and 4mg of versed without an anesthesiologist and at a very high dose for someone with a BMI of 16.5 and do not remember the procedure but experienced bad side effects afterward. I did not have a call to check on me as the doctor had claimed I would the next day and I later found out that the office closed early which was the reason I could not reach them. The option of the oncall doctor was to be seen in their ER in order to speak to the doctor but he would not talk to me over the phone which is a complete scam. I have been waiting for two weeks to hear back about my biopsy results and have had to call the office numerous times every day just to get the medical assistant to speak to the doctor about my questions on the diagnoses and medication side effects or interactions and relay his responses back to me.
