List of Homewell Care Services's Reviews
The team at HomeWell are caring, proactive, timely in their communication and do what they say they are going to do. The caregivers and the staff are first class professionals. I used Homewell in support of my dad. I could not have been more pleased with every facet of my interaction with them, from scheduling to the level of care provided by the caregivers to the timeliness of their communication to the fair and accurate billing. If you are in need of finding care, I would encourage you to interview HomeWell as a part of your selection process.
This HomeWell Cares Agency has been a blessing to my family, and especially my Dad. Went through 2 agencies before I found them and as they say, "3rd time is the charn." Great organized loving staff, professional owner, and outstanding care that shows they take aging at home seriously. Don't try anyone else, save time and frustration, contact HomeWell Cares first
I am a Home Healthcare professional, I have spent days upon days up to weeks and even months, cleaning up the messes caused by homewell and their staffing issues. Homewell will let your family sit and rot, without reaching out to more than a few available staff to see if they can possibly cover for your loved one.. I know a handful of homewells' care givers who have disclosed that they weren't even contacted when they had plenty of availabilities and clients went months without a service provider. They have let fully need and dependent clients go days without care and then don't even call to follow up and make sure that they are alive. Homewell should be Shut down. They don't give a damn about your family. Thanks for reading, take your loved ones elsewhere.
Be advised, I was called by Connor at the front desk today that they would be changing policies to a mandatory 3 hour shift. For all of you with limmited hours or income this will be allowing only a couple days of care. Also if they bill you for gloves or do not provide them, this is breaking federal laws. Its considered personal protective Gear and the company providing the service is responsible. My caregivers were constantly refused gloves telling them I had to provide them. They forget the people they hire represent thier company. The manager is a pushover and even Connor has called me several times making excuses to why some caregiver was 45 min to an hour late to my home and it was not an emergency or snow. I had people not show up to move in with thier boyfriend. The company thought it was a valid excuse to miss work. My daughter is not home on the weekends. So I would ask that Sat would be mandatory. Constantly my hours were made so I had no care for the entire weekend. It was the whole purpose of giving my daughter a break and a piece of mind that someone would be here that I got services but she had to do thier jobs for them anyway so there was no more reason to have tons of strangers in and out of my home and seeing me naked. Im tired of lost keys, people with no scrupels, morals or work ethic. If you need a job Homewell will hire you and let you work whenever you want and no matter what you do all that will happen is a verbal warning. Even if your boyfriend picks you up to go get mcdonalds or to the store and you lie about forgetting to clock in or leave an hour early...just say the client requested I leave, and you get paid for the whole shift and will never get fired. This company should not be working with Vetrans the management and owner Joe are incompetent. Owner not being involved and not being a part of his company but in name only while allowing ignorant people to run it. I bet you even with the new policy workers will not get more hours because Jordon doesn't know how to interview or schedule hours. Get paid minimum wage to wipe people butts with no gloves today. Job guaranteed.
Everyone is great besides YIM DELAROSA!!!
The entire crew here is beyond dedicated when it comes to taking care of their clients.... any review saying other wise, doesn't see the time, and dedication the staff puts in to ensure the best service to their clients... to the entire team at Homewell, Thank you for the services and support you provide our Veterans and all your clients... Keep up the amazing work!
Thoughtful and caring employees. They really make you feel like you and your loved one are taken care of. They take the time to get to know you and your needs. Definitely look forward to working with them in the future.
Awesome group of people, they are very compassionate with their patients, caregivers and office staff.Everyone there tries their best to be helpful and lends a hand when you need it. Everyone there are super nice and patient, Jordan K. Especially!
BEWARE!!! They continually sent untrained caregivers to our home for my mother. Two out of 6 were trained but "Ni" used my Mother's phone to post pics on Snapchat and talk with their boyfriend, & bummed cigarettes from her. I emailed the Snapchat picture I found on my mother's phone to the case manager Deanna who "addressed the issue" - whatever that means. Out of six different caregivers, I could not get one to show up everyday for the first week, there were always excuses. One called in the day she received her PFD - she had to go spend it and had been telling my mother all her family problems. I use to be a caregiver and had to attempt to train most of their people -after I specifically requested someone with gate belt/transfer training and I was consistently told by Jordon (I assume is Case manager Deanna's assistant) that each one had "experience" or had taken care of a family member. I invested my time into training caregiver M, the 5th one, who called in sick on Halloween and the next day I walked in my mother's room and witnessed her pulling my mother's knee away from her body to attempt to turn her which was not how I nor her Home Health PT trained her. The Physical Therapist tried to exercise her about 10 minutes later and she was in severe pain. I took her to get x-rayed and she had a fractured hip and was on non weight bearing status for 6 weeks. On the way to the hospital Mother told me she smelled alcohol on M. Case manager Deanna spoke with the owner about my sending them the bills and reminded the contract has a clause stating they are not responsible for "falls or unforeseen incidents." It is absolutely foreseeable that when you send an untrained caregiver to do a job that they could injure someone. They sent another one who walked in the door telling me she had no experience with a gate belt and that she told Homewell she did not have any. I called Deanna who insisted it was on her paperwork, but why would the caregiver come in the door saying otherwise? This agency is wreckless, irresponsible and lacks integrity.
Great Staff !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
