Great doctor very busy but always willing to listen and help!!

They scheduled my surgery before my insurance approved it, so I had to personally get ahold of my insurance and get it approved. I then had to reschedule my surgery. He also was extremely difficult to get ahold of. I then got my surgery rescheduled and drove over an hour to the hospital and got there at 6AM , when I got there I went to check in and was told that I was not scheduled for surgery. Surprisingly, I was finally able to get ahold of the doctor and the hospital was able to squeeze me in. I had to wait at the hospital for hours before they set me up for surgery. I had some problems so I stayed 5 extra days. I then got discharged and was told I had an appointment a week later and that he would call to let me know if it was in person or over the phone, I never heard from him, so I called , no answer, I even left a message. Never heard back from him until a few weeks later my primary doctor got ahold of him for me. This has been a terrible experience and super unprofessional.

He screwed up my gallbladder surgery so bad that I had to have an emergency surgery and another emergency procedure. My abdomen was full of bile and blood and he would not come into the hospital to check. He told me he needed more sleep, got me confused with another patient, and yelled at me to stay in bed. He will not give me my B12 refills and he has not been answering his phone it took me a month to get ahold of him.

This doctor has no communication skills. He speaks to his patients like they are his children. If you question him he will humiliate you in front of ppl and not listen or answer your question. If your insurance allows other options, I would definitely consider all surgeons in town.

My mom almost died, so many complications from it, and from him. Terrible bed side manner. If you have the opportunity to go to another one, do so.

Dr Todd did my gastric bypass surgery on 12/09/2018 and saved my life they only regret i have is not doing it sooner

After care and pain management care is absolutely substandard. If you want after care, DO NOT go to Dr. Todd. You will have extreme pain after surgery and despite his promises prior to surgery, he will simply avoid you and neglect your pain management. Super awkward that he prays over you. Appears to be somewhere on the Autism spectrum.

Dr Todd has an awesome bedside manner. He's an awesome surgeon and he tells it like it is. His office employees are so cool, knows what they're doing. I moved from Fairbanks Alaska to Leitchfield Kentucky in 2014. Before that I was his patient and seen him a total of about 6 times.
