I’ve learned today that my orthopedic surgeon, Dr. R.J. Hall with OPA, is retiring at the end of the year. I’ve been remiss in not expressing my gratitude earlier for the years he has seen to my medical needs with patience, kindness & professionalism. I knew after my first appointment I was extremely fortunate in choosing OPA & in turn being assigned to Dr. Hall. He was to replace both my knees within a two year time frame and follow up each surgery with OPA’s Physical Therapy Department. I had an inordinate amount of anxiety regarding the surgeries but Dr. Hall countered with the positivity I needed to push my fears away, somewhat. He had the knowledge & compassion to counter my misgivings. I realized Dr. Hall was the experienced surgeon I needed to manage my surgeries & I couldn’t be more satisfied with his care. As his retirement nears, I know that I will miss his knowledge in the event I happen to ‘mess up’ one of my new knees. Thank you Dr. Hall from the bottom of my heart. You will be missed.Although Dr. Hall my be retiring, OPA is known for its highly skilled team of professionals across many disciplines. With that said, if you find yourself needing an orthopedic surgeon, OPA should be your first choice. I’m extremely grateful they were mine.

Good first meeting.. lots of preliminary questions to answer, but appreciated the "tablet" approach as opposed to paper. Unfortunately, the initial treatment didn't do much 🤨
