dr. ambasht has seen me for years now. he figured out what was wrong with me. my colonoscopy procedures go well. and maybe most importantly he listens to me and i think hes knowledgable and caring. his offices are pretty nice too

My husband had issues. Dr Ambasht quickly diagnosed that he had cancer and arranged for him to have surgery quickly. He followed up as soon as he knew it was not malignant.

Care was exceptional. Took time to explain procedure thoroughly and answer all questions. After the procedure he explained in detail all findings and their significance. As with any specialist in Alaska scheduling is a small challenge. I would not hesitate to go back if necessary.

Had severe Gurd and was at the age were i needed a Colonoscopy and he performed both an Endoscopy for my GI problems. Everything went great Dr. Ambasht is a very nice man. As a fellow USAF Veteran I feel safe with him. I am scheduling a followup at this time when I noticed his numbers did not accurately reflect my experience with hm.

Ambasht is the best He knows how to deal with what I have going on

My wife has been a patient of Dr. Ambhasht for more than a year now. It took MONTHS and MONTHS of testing labs and run around without followup to finally get a diagnosis of Crohns disease. His MAs never know what is going on and love to play doctor telling her once that her labs were fine when in fact they werent. Not to mention orders almost always require multiple phone calls to their office due to errors. They tell you that followup about labs and imaging is the patients responsibility which I find completely ridiculous. This last appointment after seeing him for more than a year is the first one that we actually felt like he sort of cared.

He messed up my mom he performed a procedure on her and she became so sick and almost died and has been in the hospital for over 9 months and has had numerous other problems due to his mess up and she is bed ridden and our family has been suffering ever since he touched her

Less than one month after a Valley surgeon did an EGD and diagnosed two problems but did nothing to correct either Dr Ambasht repeated the procedure to correct problems and caught TWO precancerous conditions the other surgeon had completely missed He may have saved my life and he definitely improved it After 22 months of being unable to swallow and digest food properly this Sunday I ate my first normal meal in almost 2 years.Dr Ambasht is a personal hero to me and everyone who loves me is indebted to him for changing my existence from miserable and afraid to happy and getting healthy again.The fact that another surgeon missed both precancerous conditions is shocking frightening and inexcusable.If you want a surgeon who listens to you and gets to the root of a problem go to this one. Hes thorough and clearly cares.

The front desk staff and medical assistants have been very friendly and helpful. I had to wait a few minutes to see the doctor but that is to be expected. At first I had a hard time understanding Dr. Ambasht just because of his accent. I appreciated his advice very much and even his criticism of my primary care provider in not getting him the records he needed. His next opening was several weeks out but when he saw the frustration on my face he said I can see you are struggling lets see if we can get you in sooner. I thought the doctor and his staff were awesome.

Excellent doctor as the patient I felt very comfortable with him and the procedures went very well. I will recommend him to anyone. Jeannette Gibbons
