As I approach one year of treatment for breast cancer, I want to thank Dr Theodore Kim of Katmai Oncology, his nurse Yolanda, Sang and the front desk ladies, the cheerful efficient ladies in the infusion rooms and others behind the scenes for the professional and loving care I have received since January. No one enjoys their cancer experience, but these professionals have supported me by listening to my concerns, explaining my treatment options clearly, cheering me on and returning my phone calls promptly. The user friendly portal is a great communication asset. I recommend Dr Kim and this practice to anyone who is looking for an oncologist. Yes, they did all this and dealt with COVID 19 at the same time.

Dr Kim saved my life. Not only that but he raised my spirits, gave me the impetus to keep going and allayed my fears. He seemed genuinely interested in me as a patient and as a person. I can never thank him enough.

We are the Reynolds family, Dr Kim is my father in laws doctor . We have had only the best of interactions with Dr Kim ! Going through cancer with a family member anytime is very hard with Dr Kim’s very competent and very kind bed side manner he has left a very memorable great impression on us . Thank you!

At first I wasn't sure if HE was sure about his treatment plan. But I have grown to appreciate him more and more with each visit. He maintains his professional persona, while at the same time administering care with a direct approach and sensitivity. Sometimes it seems he says one thing one time and another the next. I believe this is a personality quirk and has nothing to do with competence. I highly respect him and would quickly recommend him to all for cancer treatment.

Dr Kim is a caring, very well informed DR. He spends as much time with each patient as they need. He is extremely careful with his diagnosis and treatment. His staff in Anacortes is wonderful also. He listens to each concern and answers all questions factually and with compassion. I am glad he is my oncologist.
