rude staff and provider
This office is a total rip off. Exorbitant overcharging of clients even with top corporate insurance. Look elsewhere. Senter should be ashamed of themselves.
Provider Ruth has seen me several times for different issues over the years. She is caring, efficient and very knowledgeable. The office staff are always friendly and helpful.
Dr. Janine Miller has been treating my facial birthmark with the PDL laser and the results have blown me away! I was told for many years that my birthmark could not be treated and now it is almost gone! I Never thought I would feel so confident and not need coverup on my face. Thank you, Dr. Miller!
I've never gone on yelp to review businesses before. Until now. I arrived early, filled out my paperwork and waited about 20 past my appointment time. When I was seen, Dr.Miller came in like the flash, and honestly I felt as if I blinked and the appointment was over. She assumed what I had and doubted herself soon after further examination, told me they were sending samples to the lab and left. Also, during the process, I kept reminding her of what happened because she basically heard one thing and stuck with it when there was more to the story. Furthering my beliefs that she was in a rush and wasn't really listening. Honestly, her nurse assistant had way better bedside manner and I shared my questions/concerns with her because she took the time to listen. She didn't make me feel like she had better things to do with her time, like Dr. Miller. All in all, I'm giving 2 stars- 1, because they were able to get me into the office in a matter of days and 2, the front office staff are friendly. Safe to say that I will not be returning.
This was our second visit to this office. My wife’s visit went smoothly and they were careful to make sure all of our questions were answered. This trip was for me. I had about a dozen skin tags removed and they were incredibly fast, competent, kind and pretty funny. The joking around with me kept the stress level down and did a lot to alleviate my anxiety during these procedures. I would recommend them.
It's disheartening to read such wildly incongruous reviews! I've seen Kristi for adult acne/sensitive skin (along w my pre/teenage daughter) for over 6 yrs & the incomparable aesthetician, Harmony. I've been very pleased w the care & drive in from the Valley specifically to see Kristi & Harmony. The front desk staff is young but capable & courteous & were knowledgeable about insurance claim filing. I have no reservations in recommending this office to friend & stranger alike.
I have been a patient at Senter Dermatology (with Dr. Janine Miller) for several appointments and found the medical experience to be among the best I’ve had. The office is clean and well-run with the staff being friendly, up-beat as well as efficient. Dr. Miller is professional, gentle, personable, empathetic and extremely knowledgable. She is never rushes through the appointment and it’s a pleasure to be able to sit and talk with her as she makes sure the patient throughly understands the problem, treatment options, etc.. I have been a doctor in the health field, living in Florida for many years and have been in several dermatology practices…Florida, sun and skin problems go hand-in-hand. Center Dermatology is a great office and Dr. Miller is a great doctor…I am grateful to have found them!
They raised my hopes up first appointment that I'd be able to get co2 laser to fix my scars. I come back weeks later, get my nose numbed, and they sit me down and basically say "yeah no we can't do this laser on your scars it's not gonna work." I ended up spending $800 on a different laser for redness because they made me feel like it was a big deal, but now I'm realizing it was a mistake and I should've left the minute they said they couldn't do the co2. I'm gonna go to a different dermatologist.
I saw Dr. Miller in September for a minor skin issue, and she took care of it easily. While I was there she saw a discoloration on my lower lip and told me she could remove it with a special laser treatment. I had not thought about seeking removal of the discoloration before this, as it did not bother me. She assured me that most insurances cover the full cost of the treatment. She also mentioned that it may take several visits to completely clear up the discoloration. I asked the office to contact my insurance and confirm that it would cover the cost of the treatment. I do take responsibility for not contacting my insurance myself, but trusting the Senter staff when they said it would be covered. I had the treatment in January, and then found out that I would have to pay for the whole procedure, as I had not yet met my deductible.I feel frustrated that I got pushed into having an optional (not medically necessary) procedure with the false understanding that it would not cost a lot. With only one procedure done, the discoloration has not changed. So I owe about a month's worth of rent and have nothing to show for it. I will pay the bill, but Senter Dermatology will not get my business again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
