Tlc Care Services's Online Review Report Card

I hired this agency to help me find a caregiver for my Dad who has Alzheimer's. I live out of state and was the one paying the bill, but they refused to share the contact information of the caregiver with me, citing that it was their policy. Obviously because of his diagnosis, he had trouble remembering the caregiver's schedule/suggesting tasks for her, etc. He told me the caregiver was also not allowed to drive him to appointments because she "felt uncomfortable with someone else in her car." Finally I wrote to the agency saying I would not be using them (Home Instead is much more transparent/ethical). However, this agency allowed my DAD to hire them directly, knowing his diagnosis, and continues to charge him for the caregiver. I can't speak to the actual quality of his caregiver, who seems young and very nice (but apparently told my dad she "needs the money" so he continues to use her despite aforementioned limitations). Be very wary using them for your loved ones!

I contacted TLC home care to inform them that the client they are billing has passed away since I would not give them my name they hung up the phone on me. I do not recommend these heartless lack of caring, not loving people to work on your home the amount they are trying to send this poor old lady to collections for is $343 however the total amount they would like to collect from interest and fees is now $1236.92 that is four times the original amount. so this poor old lady who is now dead is being charged 4 times the original amount. probably services that weren’t very loving and caring. I I have sent this letter back to them with a slash a crossed it stating this person does not live here and they keep sending it to finally I’m like why am I getting dead persons mail again? I called them to say this individual is deceased, and was hung up on so caring so loving click hang up.. I have to add more. I just realized that I called them at 3 AM in the morning they answered however, since they could not receive payment or information leading to payment when I told them the clients name deceased they hung up on me and told me to call back during normal business maybe they’ll read this comment and realize that Tammy Wendelin has passed away

TLC is hands down the best care provider in Anchorage. Tracy, the owner is honest and endearing. She is hands on and responsive, exactly the kind of person you would want to entrust your 98 year old father to.

since we left TLC our care giver has never been late, always arrived on days and time she was scheduled, never requested to leave early. If you review performance of TLC CARE PERSONNEL who helped my MOM AUDREY you will know why TLC is not taking care of my MOM. These folks provide a much-needed service (transport an in-patient client post procedure, and settle the client in at home, as needed) at a very reasonable charge. Service arrangements were easy to make, and reliably delivered. They earned my trust, my repeat business, and my confident recommendation.

I would recommend these guys any day of the week. They were great for us when my grandmother needed daytime care while I was at work.

They provided my post op care after my knee replacement and I was very happy with the aides that helped me. Their response was very fast for any issues that came up. I really felt cared for and very grateful to Eni and her staff. I am going for the next knee this month and have TLC all lined up and ready to care for me post op.

When seeking care for my uncle whose paralysis kept him either wheelchair or bed bound we searched and searched. After meeting with several TLC employees we knew this was a perfect fit! From the personalized care to the witty banter, the staff is always on top of what our family needs. Its really the little things, like leaving new quotes or even jokes on our family white board that has made this such a heartwarming experience!
