I started on anti-depressants in my early 20's, experiencing paranoia and the feeling that random strangers were talking about me. I knew something was wrong. Anti-depressants helped me feel normal until recently. With the onset of covid and getting laid off permanently from a job I had dedicated 12 years with, I found myself not able to get out of bed for days, having no energy, a total lack of focus and a sense of despair that frightened me.I noticed within days of getting TMS treatments at True North, that my energy levels were getting better. Several weeks went by and I noticed that I had more motivation to do activities that I enjoy and I was not having "bad days" like before. After the full treatment, I noticed that I did not have the ball and chain around me anymore — I felt a lightness of being that freed me from the darkness that I had felt before.Overall, it was a very positive experience. I continue to work on self-compassion and working towards setting constructive goals, one step at a time.Having Sarah greet me everyday with a smile on her face was comforting to me. Plus they were able to accommodate any changes in the schedule which was very helpful.
