She is always so sweet and gentle. And I like that she always explains what she is doing and why so I know what to expect each step of the way. She has been my optometrist for years and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. She answers all my questions without treating me like I’m dumb or an inconvenience. She even allows my fiancé to ask questions and she always answers them. I do wish there was someone on call tho for weekends to answer questions.

She discriminates against her staff. She is beyond rude and talks down to her employees. She has employees walking on egg shells scared to upset her or approach her. She just fired a member who has been there for over 10years. She has also broken AK labor laws. Do not support a selfcentered person who operates her establishment in this manor.

Been coming here for 10 years. Victoria Yu is excellent!! She does not do the dilation eye drops. This is a huge plus. Instead uses the machine to scan an take a photo, then compare it to previous years.

While the office is clean and the staff nice enough, I wasn't able to get through via phone for two weeks. I didn't understand when asked if my eyes were different strengths and she got upset with me when I told her they were and she sent me home with the same strength contacts for both eyes anyways. The contacts were uncomfortable and the wrong prescription. Now I have to get another prescription to get the right ones. The location is extremely inconvenient, too.
