William Mccray's Online Review Report Card

Dr. McCray is the BEST AWESOME Dr. I have ever seen I would recommend him to anyone in the world. Most of all he is a TRUE MAN OF GOD which even makes it better to trust him. Ive been trying to find where he is practicing now does anyone know where hes at now????

He is a terrible doctor I have candida overgrowth and a very heavy growth too He refused to orders a fungus test stating he doesn’t think I have it. I got another doc to Order it and and yes I had a lot of Candida. He gave me a medicine for ulcerative colitis in which I don’t even have that made hurt my stomach SOO MUCH and gave me antibiotic and prednisone that both hurt my stomach and those two things made candida worse Corrupt doctor. He discharged me from his practice when I confronted him of his mistake. Hard to find a trustworthy gi doctor

Dr McCray is an excellent gastroenterologist. He is highly respected in his medical field by other physicians and nursing staff. Im always hearing about the many people he has helped. His nurse and scheduler take great pride in assisting his patients. They are all kind caring and understanding. If you are seeking excellent professional care you will find it here.

Dealing with this office is a punishing experience. Phone waiting times are often up to 12 minutes. No one returns your phone calls and I had to wait over 2 months for test results. Patients seem to be the last priority of this office. The doctor is nice but when contacting him all communication had to go through a medical assistant who got it wrong every time. It wasnt until I saw another doctor that I realized that my condition had not been managed well for over 10 years.

Please dont interpret this rating as a patient evaluation of Dr. McCrays competence patient communication or reputation. This is about the ADMIN STAFF that he has to rely on to ensure the total patient experience is pleasant. Let me cut to the chase. I recently spoke to a nurse whos been in healthcare for three decades. I mentioned I no longer see the Dr. because of tenuous interaction with his staff over billing and scheduling. She related she no longer refers folks for that very reason.

Im saddened the previous reviewer had a bad experience with the receptionist but we ALL have bad days and its possible that employee had just gotten off the phone with a patient who ranted yelled and cursed at him for something he couldnt control just before spilling an entire cup of boiling water on his leg I can state unequivocally from years of personal experience that Dr. McCray is a wonderful caring compassionate and knowledgable physician. He has always treated me with the greatest respect listened to my complaints without interruption and fully answered any questions or concerns expressed by either me or my husband. He has been my gastroenterologist for more than a decade and hes the physician Ill call if any member of my family should develop a problem with their stomach digestive system.

I was referred to Dr. McCray so he may be a good Dr. but I will never know.I just called the front desk 1000 AM April 14 to talk about being a new patient and the MALE that answered the phone was so short and rude with me I could only tell him I would have to call back and I hung up I was in such disbelief I knew immediately this wasnt the place for us.I made an appointment with another doctor immediately. I would tell the Dr. personally but this is probably a better avenueso if you have the same experience you will be warned.Remember the front desk is your first impression and you only get one chance to make a first impression.Good luck
