Dr. Kaufman has always been genuinely interested and compassionate during the years she's been my primary provider. She's attentive and thorough and knows how to ask the right questions when I've struggled to find the most accurate description of symptoms. With the various specialists I've needed to work with for my health issues, Dr. Kaufman helps me to understand and works with me on treatment options. Mostly, Dr. Kaufman sincerely cares, and that means everything to me as a patient.

Really not impressed. She saw a referral in my chart from a PA to OBGYN regarding sterilization. Her first words were, “And What does your boyfriend think about this?” (Chart lists long time partner onboard). She mumbled into the computer regarding weaning me off a medication and never explained it to me, nor was it in the notes to the pharmacy. I had to call back to have a medication adjusted and provide them with some more information. It took over two weeks, an immense amount of calls, and her nurse said the doctor wanted me to gather the same data- stating I hadn’t done it yet. When I told her I had and that was what I had passed on at least five times prior she finally adjusted the medication. I had to see a specialist in November- turns out Kaufmann’s office was supposed to call and schedule me in a post procedure appt. I never heard from them again. It feels like she doesn’t even see me as a human being, or care to do her job. Sucks to have a chronic illness.

My mother had acute stomach and back pains when we first met Dr. Kaufmann. She listened and prescribed a blood test and anti-nausea pills and said it might be pancreatitis, but wasn't sure. That night she called and said my mother needed antibiotics and that more results would available later. The next morning around 7:30 Dr. Kaufmann called to say go to the E.R. It was pancreatitis so her gallbladder was removed. Dr. Kaufmann showed dedication and professionalism. Highly recommend her!
