Long overdue but he took great care of my elderly mother when she fell and broke her hip. Now it's time again for a knee replacement (soon she'll be the Bionic Woman) as she's having alot of trouble getting around and I wouldn't trust anyone but Dr. Justin. May I call you Justin. 😉
El doctor Justin es una persona muy amable con su pacientes,,yo tenía un problema de menisco y me pase casi 8 años sin caminar bien y el doctor me dejó como nueva.. le doy las gracias por hacer un excelente trabajo... bendiciones
I am a new patient of Dr. Chronister and so far he has answered any question or concern that I had about my hip. I personally feel that his bed side manners are amazing. Always happy and understanding. I have read the reviews since he is doing my surgery and I am not the least bit worried. I have faith in the Doctor. You Rock Dr. Chronister 💯
Back in late February I was scheduled for an injection due to pain caused by a recent knee surgery (which had complications, as I was not given blood thinners post-op which lead to a blood clot, thrombosis) Around march the doctors office notified me that the injection had been declined by my insurance. I reached out to my insurance provider and I was told the injection would be covered if the doctors office order it through the insurance’s suggested pharmacy/provider instead of the one the doctors office was trying to use I followed up with the doctors office so they could order the injection through the pharmacy/provider my insurance had suggested I've spent multiple weeks calling and visiting the office trying to get them to order the injection to no avail. I’ve contacted the pharmacy/provider that my insurance suggested and they also have not heard from the doctors office. Last Wed (Apr 5th) I visited the office and was told they would be sending the necessary information to get the injection ordered through the insurance’s provider. On Friday (Apr 7th) I called the insurance provider and to confirm if the information was sent, they told me that they still had no record/contact from the doctors office Today (Apr 10th) I had an appointment scheduled that had to be postponed because once again the doctors office has not been able to communicate with my insurance's pharmacy/provider. I don’t understand how this has not been resolved since late February, I am completely frustrated by the entire situation
I want to start by saying, Dr. Chronister is a good doctor when it comes to the procedure. He could be great however, this requires more than just the procedural portion. After recently having my ACL reconstruction surgery, I wasn't given much info on my stretches or things to do once I went home. I called the office the following Tuesday and every day after but was never given any information. I left my information with their associate Dakota 3 times but have yet to get any kind of call or even email back giving me the information I was needing. I was able to setup a doctors appointment for next week where I hope o get information. However, one thing about going into the office is the wait times become ridiculously long even with the scheduled appointment. I want to have a successful recovery from what I'm told is a "major surgery" but haven't gotten the help or responses post surgery to prove it. Again, I do want to reiterate that Dr. Chronister is great when you are with him or when he is doing the surgery but afterwards expect some difficult working with the staff.
Unfortunately, we were not very pleased. Aside from being there Oct 3, 2022, just prior to 1100am and after spending 12 minutes max with the consult, it was 1:35pm when we left the Dr.'s exam room. in summary, we were tired and generally unsatisfied with the consult. Maybe it was a bad day for them: maybe it was a bad day for us. Just had a very long wait time and felt that they didn't really review the records or give enough thought to our specific case, and felt rushed out: we felt like it was difficult to get any clarifications. Bad days happen: we are in the consulting business too, and try our best but sometimes it just doesnt come off. I'm sorry for that
Not personable at all. Was in and out of my room in less that 5 minutes. Didn’t listen to concerns or history.
The front desk staff never acknowledged that I was even there. There was a long wait to see the doctor after showing up on time for my appointment (over an hour). He also did not spend what I consider proper time addressing my concerns and did not give me a good plan of action. Save your time and money and find another Ortho. Edit: I did call for follow up, the PT that they recommended did not accept my insurance and it took over a week for them to refer me after the visit (I tried calling the office several times). You have my name and number. Feel free to call next week if you’re actually interested in addressing my concerns
Dr. Chronister really was fabulous! He was my 3rd orthopedic visit. He was the only one who took the time to listen to my symptoms. I will need to have hip replacement surgery eventually due to arthritis. It turned out that my pain was related to my sciatica. Now that the sciatica is being corrected, I don't feel the pain in the hip! Great bedside manner. Excellent listening. Genuine interest in solving my health problem! DR. CHRONISTER ROCKS!!!!
Unhappy with the office staff. Too make am appointment for daughter was difficult, the front desk personal was rude. I had to get my daughter in to follow up on her fractured arm that dr chronister saw at the greater heights hospital. We get her in to see him ,only we never got to see him. Front desk lady again ,rude, we were refused because they didn't want to bill her bsbc. Said we had to go through auto insurance. She couldn't take the time to explain ,she was too busy on phone. This dr. Need new front desk personnel.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
