Larry Likover's Online Review Report Card

Absolutely the WORST office ever. They wanted to schedule my husband for a surgery THAT day that they said he needed ASAP when they thought we were paying cash out of pocked the day off. But when we told them we needed the code so he could get insurance to pay for the surgery, no one will give it to us. It’s now been three weeks of waiting when they said he NEEDED it that day!! And they won’t release him to go back to work even though the bone was broken now three months ago and is completely healed!!!! Complete scam.

Dr. Likover performed a scope on my knee in 2016. I did not write a review at the time because I hadn't found this website; however, after reading these bad reviews, I feel compelled to write. Dr. Likover did an excellent job scoping my knee. He was certainly not rude and he was very interested in what I had to say. That said, I was not looking for someone to hold my hand. True, he does not beat around the bush when talking with you, but he was very knowledgeable. He was very honest, but not brutally so. He wasn't in a hurry to leave the exam room. I've had doctors who stood at the door--talking as they left. This was not the case with Dr. Likover.The staff was very kind and attentive-as was the medical assistant. I think I waited about half an hour past my appointment time to be seen. I typically wait 30-45 minutes with my other doctors, so I thought waiting was just a normal thing. I had no copay with my insurance and insurance also paid for the CT Scan, procedure, and post-procedure check-up so I have no knowledge of the billing system.Now I'm going back to Dr. Likover to be seen for the other knee, which I injured in 2 falls. I'll keep close tabs and write another review. I highly recommend him for any knee procedure.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Likover was throughout my complete knee replacement. I began having symptoms in August of 2021 and began seeing a Rheumatologist. (I will leave their information out of this even though I believe that they were the reason that my knee got so bad before surgery.) I continued seeing this rheumatologist until I was sent to Dr. Likover for a consultation. He immediately sent me for an x-ray and after seeing it, said that my entire knee had to be replaced. This is not what I was expecting to hear, but anything would be welcome as long as I would be able to use it again to walk and get out of my wheelchair and off my crutches. We scheduled the surgery and everything went smoothly from my perspective. However, Dr. Likover informed me that my knee was one of the worst that he had seen that year (June 2022) and was concerned that he may not be able to get it as clean and flexible as he would like. Nevertheless, he completed the surgery and I was released home with almost NO PAIN!. I did the exercises that were suggested and used the machine that was sent home with me 6 hours every day for 2-3 weeks. I returned to see him for a follow up and he was amazed at how much I had accomplished in the short time since the surgery. I returned again in 3 months and he was extremely happy with how my recovery was coming along. I was able to extend my leg straight and bend it to the 180 degree goal. It is going on 6 months since the replacement and I can say that thanks to Dr. Likover's advanced skill as a surgeon, I am back on my feet walking again. Thank you SOOOOO Much Dr. Likover for getting me back to a normal life!!

My wife had problem with her knees for a long time, she went to Dr. Likover and he recommended cleaning of the meniscus, the operation was done in less than an hour and the rehabilitation was quick and the almost painless. Also, I had a problem with my shoulder and he suggested X-rays and after he review them, he recommended cortisone to avoid unnecessary costs. Now I’m waiting for MRI to see exactly what is causing the problem but after all the explanations, I really feel great being in his hands. If you have knee or shoulder problems, Dr. Likover is the best.

Dr. Larry Likover did my knee replacement surgery in 2011, and I'm going back to him now for problems with my lower back. I highly recommend him; he did an excellent job on my knee. I have complete use of it; it bends completely back! He's the only doctor I want doing surgery on any part of my body covered by his specialty; he knows exactly what he's doing, and how to get it done!

This dr and office is a joke ! My insurance in network and they told me im not covered lol. I even called and my insurance said I was covered!Greedy dr and office robbing ppl! They want cash! 😂 this dr no cash no services

Dr. Likover did an absolutely fantastic job with my left hip replacement. His clinic is top-notch. The staff, the process, the technology, the results of my surgery - all flawless. His partnership with Memorial Herman is absolutely fantastic. I was completely amazed by how easy my surgery was. I know it is a result of Dr. Likover's expertise and leadership. I would recommend Dr. Likover to anyone for this surgery
