List of Texas Children's Hospital's Reviews
You can understand my relief, as well as my partners when NYU/Langone opened the Cobble Hill Emergency Department. They have everything needed for a free standing E.R., including imaging, pharmacy, etc. etc. They also have all of my electronic records from NYU and are in constant contact with my doctors. They have full contact with the neuro and pulmonary departments at NYU Tisch while I am there (and would have contact with any specialist needed).
They are the best in the world.
The hospital has the best ranking and service national wide. My family starts to use their service since a decade ago.
Personally, I do appreciate the ER of this hospital. They are professional and they care about only your child, but also give support to the parents. God bless them.
Thank you so much for the valuable service doctors in Texas Children’s. My daughter was taking medication for one week from her primary doctor and getting worse day by day. When I brought her to Texas Children, they treated and gave her medication recovered on the same day and started her online school. Bundle of thanks lady doctor!
My experience was practically pain free. No pain after surgery and still no pain months later. I feel 500% better. I didn't realize how the gallbladder affects your entire body.
After having blood work done locally (Beaumont, TX) on Friday afternoon, we received a call on Saturday morning that our 12 year-old daughter was severely anemic and may require a blood transfusion. The doctor encouraged us to head directly to TCH and said that she would let them know we were on our way. We pulled in, checked into the ER and were immediately taken back to a room. I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was from start to finish! Our initial contact was with Sophia, who went over forms and insurance information with us and immediately put us at ease. The doctors and nurses were so friendly, calming, informative, and most importantly... talked not only to me (about their concerns and what was happening each step of the way), but directly to my daughter, as well. Our primary doctor was Cody Newell (best bedside manner ever and had the calmest voice and kindest eyes), our primary nurse was Kacey Hahn (so sweet and hysterically funny - we loved her sense of humor... and taste in movies), and we were also visited several times by the sweetest Child Life Specialist, Chandler Townsend, who truly eased my daughter's anxiety (Buzzy was the best!) and even made her laugh through some trying moments. We also met with Dr. Mark Ward, Dr. Joseph Allen, and Dan (sorry... didn't get his last name) who was finally able to find a good vein for additional blood work. We spent the better part of the day there and it was such an incredible experience that my daughter said she was actually kind of sad that we had to leave! I tried to make sure I got everyone's names down in hopes that these reviews are shared with staff when they are recognized by name. Thankfully, no blood transfusion was needed and they were able to get us back home in what I would consider record time. I cannot say thank you enough to this phenomenal group of people for their time, expertise and kindness! Our family is eternally grateful for each and every one of you!!!
Please do not bring your children here I have seen 3 different doctors here they come and their shift finishes, my baby is in a such deep and heavy pain only God can help us. Hope my baby don't die by the time these doctors finish their job. No body cares here how your pain is hard and what are you going through. Please find another place to take you loved once. The waiting is hours and hours here it has been 12 hours we been waiting here
The best care for my son during his emergency appendix surgery! All the staff and not just the nurses. From check in to discharge this hospital was the best given the circumstance. If you have a choiceplease choose them. The nursing staff is hands down the best.
I would not take my children anywhere else. Every single department that I have visited went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend TCH to anyone and everyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
