I was sent to Dr. Miller's office as a referral from an Urgent Care facility. I do not live in Juneau and was sort of at the mercy of strangers for medical help in an urgent situation. I was able to see the doctor within 24 hours of initial contact after the referral, and I was able to have a hospital based procedure done the following day after meeting with the doctor. I found him to be warm, friendly and professional. He erred on the side of being thorough, which I appreciated.

Dr. Miller apparently has magic fingers when it comes to doing double inguinal hernia repairs. My surgery was four weeks ago and I've not had any complications - three days of super sore then feeling better and better each day. I concur with the Dr's recommendation to do the traditional open surgery w/mesh procedure since it is the gold standard to which other methods have not proven superior. Thanks.
