List of Eric G Paulson's Reviews
I strongly recommend Dr. Paulson. He made my oral surgery a breeze. The procedure went exactly as planned with all questions and concerns expertly answered from the staff. As a bonus, he’s an incredible gentleman to speak with. The staff were great. Overall super positive experience.
I have seen Dr Paulson for some oral surgery and he has always been thoughtful and willing to answer any questions and/or concerns. His work has been excellent and I highly recommend him for complex issues.
I've seen Dr paulson on several occasions he is awesome not a better DDS in all of Alaska and he's a really good person!
Great job good dental work but the dr. Seemed to have a attitude and complained about how he wamted 2 quit and was just very rude in general. He did a great job though on my wisdom teeth extraction
Had wisdom teeth extracted. Staff is very friendly and Dr. Paulson did an excellent job! I felt very safe in their hands
I recently had oral surgery at Dr. Paulson's practice in Juneau. I'm 48 years old and just had my wisdom teeth extracted. My 13 year old daughter also had bay molars extracted the same day. We do not live in Juneau and due to weather our original scheduled appointment had to be canceled. The staff made sure we were rescheduled quickly. The staff was polite, courteous, and professional as was Dr. Paulson. Being 48, I of course was very nervous about the extraction and the recovery after. I'm sure I am not typical, as far as extractions go, mine were probably ideal, but I experience zero pain, and I mean zero pain since the surgery. Four days out and I have and have not had any swelling, bruising, no pain, or real discomfort at all. My daughter is doing well also.
doctor Eric Paulson and his staff have always given me excellent care during and after the surgery . Even given me phone number to contact after hours in case emergency
Got me in on an emergency extraction, thankfully there was a cancellation. Super fast, friendly, and effective. Thank you for taking great care of myself .
I have employed Dr Paulson twice over a 11 year period. This last visit, we spent a bit of time together, and had a nice chat. He has really evolved into a very fine person. If you need to have 'THAT' kind of work done for you, it is reassuring to know the person doing it has his head and heart in the right place. All my friends like and recommended him. I like him. I am glad he lives in my community. 'Nuff Said.'
Not the best dental experience, poor BP taking technique. From Harvard Health - one of 7 BP measurement mistakes: Engaging in conversation. Chatting during the measurement — or even actively listening — can boost blood pressure. That's why you (and everyone nearby) should be silent to ensure an accurate measurement. Dr. Paulson engaged in chatter and asked questions, each time I answered the cuff would tighten some more making my arm ache and my BP climb even higher. Then he made me mad questioning my decision to not use a certain drug which drove my BP through the roof!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
