Absolutely recommend PROC. The staff are very friendly, knowledgable and professional. They explained the entire procedure, answered all of our questions very thoroughly. We (wife and myself) both felt there was genuine caring from all the staff. We felt very comfortable from day one and throughout the entire set of procedures (approximately 44 sessions). The treatments were completely painless with very minimal side effects. My life continued normally, including exercising (played Racquetball 2-3 times a week (2 hours per). About half way through the treatment sessions my wife asked how I was feeling about having to go to the treatments. My response was “It’s really sorta Fun. It’s more like a social event with friends. Both the staff and other patients were all a tremendous group of people to be around”. Again, I highly recommend PROC and I’m extremely happy they’re here on the Peninsula providing their services.

To be told you have cancer is a life shaking experience and that treatment is available right here in Soldotna at Radiation Oncology Center in the River Tower at Central Peninsula Hospital. I was very concerned about the radiation treatment and was scheduled for 43 treatments of external radiation every day which scared me. The day I arrived for my first treatment I was greeted with such a caring and professional staff that walked me through the treatment procedure and explained every step along the way. I was put at ease and really looked forward to the balance of the 42 treatments thanks to a loving and caring staff like Melany, Jennifer and Melissa and, of course, Dr. Halligan! We need more like them!
