Took time to answer all my questions and referred me to other orthopedic physicians for areas that were not his specialty. He is a true physician who cares for patients as well as being a surgeon.

I feel and landed on my knee in January resulting in an MRI. Dr. G Strohmyer told me I just need physical therapy and maybe a cortisone shot. Well, 8 months later my knee pain has continued progressed to constant limping . I took the same MRI results and images to OPA of Wasilla and that orthopedic doctor told me the truth. I needed a total knee replacement. I would get a second opinion on anything that this guy says. He clearly cannot read an MRI and does not understand the anatomy on the MRI images. BEWARE HE IS NOT VERY KEEN ON WHAT A MISSING CARTILAGE LOOKS LIKE!!!!?!?!?!?! I would consider someone else for my orthopedic care!!

He was recommended by a number of people who had their knees replaced by him as well as a GP I see. He answered all my questions before and after surgery. I am impressed with the results of my knee replacement. 5 Stars!!

This Doctor deformed a young childs arm, and then had to guts to actually sue the parent that sued his firm. What a terrible doctor, I would not bring anyone to him.
