List of Sunil Goli's Reviews
Very very rude staff. Especially the main lady that’s been there the longest. There may be days she is friendly, but not much. I had a question not too long ago about my medication & she was rude & I was going to thank her for checking on situations & she just hung up on me! Dr. Goli is an excellent Dr., but there is always such a long waiting time to be seen. Also, my pharmacy says they have issues with medication information as well. That is why I quit seeing him., mainly because of his staff.
The most un friendly doctor I have ever encountered…..talked to me like I was a complete idiot
As a new patient I came in to my appointment 20 minutes early and with my new patient forms filled out. Waited 2 hours before the receptionist Amanda made any contact with me. She walked me back to my room took my blood pressure and asked me my height and weight.. left the room … after waiting another hour I walked out to the receptionist… she was on her cellphone .. I asked how much longer. She said I should be next… that was the same thing she told me as she walked me back to my room. I asked for my copay and to cancel my visit. She clicked on the computer for a few minutes and said she couldn’t refund me that she would have to do it when she got to her “home office”….I learned after talking to other patients that we were all scheduled at 10:15am. How is that possible? To Dr. Goli and management- a smiley face and a good attitude at the front desk makes new patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Second trip to this Dr. Waited almost 2 hrs. on the first appointment. They tried to make us wait in the hall until they were ready but I said no Way. Got there 20 minutes early this appointment and was told the office was closed for lunch and we would have to come back. My husband is on oxygen and was very weak from walking in to start with. Woman was very rude when I asked for a mask because he forgot his. Slammed the door in my face to go look for a mask and my husband and I left. Won't be back. Very rude staff!
I have terrible head tremors. Dr. Goli's staff scheduled a quick appointment for me. Dr. Goli took ample time and I did not feel rushed. He was able to help me set up a course of action that he felt was best for me and I trusted his recommendations. He and his staff are awesome! I highly recommend him.
I had a great experience working with them. They got me the sleep treatment that worked for me. They were so helpful, and they genuinely care about the patients.
The treatment I've received from Dr Goli has been life changing! I have been using the CPAP he prescribed for about a month. My apnea episodes have decreased from 14.9 to 5.5 per hour. I am getting more restful sleep and feel less tired during the day. Much less short of breath and decreased instances of the uncomfortable heart fluttering of afib. After developing afib (scary) I was referred to Dr Goli by my cardiologist Dr Ray Workman (also awesome). I have learned so much from Dr Goli and the wonderful team at UAB West's sleep study clinic. I did not realize how many health issues are caused or made worse by sleep apnea. Oxygen to the brain is a wonderful thing!!! Please do not hesitate to give sleep study/CPAP a chance if suggested for you . Change can be difficult but sometimes well worth the effort.
Dr. Goli and his staff have been amazing in their care. The doctor takes all the time needed with each patient. I was never rushed or hurried. If I had questions or concerns I was given undivided attention. The cpap therapy and advice have changed my life. I was a mild case and the improvements to my health cannot be put into words. Life-changing! As a pharmacist myself I feel I am uniquely qualified to evaluate fellow health care professionals. Quality matters, not speed, and if I feel a doctor doesn’t exhibit the proper knowledge combined with genuine concern for my wellbeing I would not go the them. Dr. Goli is what I want in my search for excellent care.
Great doctor. Patiently listens to my concerns and addresses them. Spends even more time with me than even my PCP!!Recommend him to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
