Terrible, terrible doctor. He removed my gallbladder and I’ve been suffering since. Never trust this man. Never.

I would Never recommend this doctor to anyone. I had gallbladder surgery and I haven’t felt good since. I returned to his office and he said that I had a hernia, no X-ray taken. I called my general doctor, had X-rays taken and had no hernia. This doctor shows no concern at all. The worst mistake of my life. Shelby Medical is Awful as well. I have had serious acid reflux since my emergency surgery. I would have done better at a vet.

I had a groin surgery that was complicated by a massive post-operative hematoma, which led to permanent erectile dysfunction, penile deformity, and severe debilitating depression. I do not feel as though I was properly counseled by the doctor on the risks of the surgery and I do not feel like the actions taken after I had complications were sufficient to prevent the permanent injury that resulted. I was given numerous assurances by the doctor and his staff, both on the phone and in-person, that the complications I was experiencing were normal and that everything would resolve in due time. It’s been over a year and I’ve seen very little improvement in the problems caused by this surgery. I have since seen three Urologists and nobody can provide me any substantive help.

Dr Braswell performed a procedure on my son. Complications arose due to inadequate post op instructions. He was scared and contacted Dr Braswell office on several occasions only to be told his symptoms were normal and not to make an office visit They said no need. So no visual inspections by the Dr that performed the surgery. What was going on with him was NOT NORMAL. I am disturbed by the actions of this office. Had he been seen and received Proper treatment, the negative outcome could have been avoided. Now my son has to live with the awful results for the rest of his life.

Dr. Braswell seemed knowledgeable; however, he made me feel ashamed because I am overweight.

Dr. Braswell performed a surgery on my groin area and I have permanent damage as a result.

I wish I had never used his services. My quality of life will never be the same.

Had a run of the mill outpatient surgery and was met with complications the day after discharge. Both he and his nurses were apathetic about post op concerns. I was reassured everything was normal. It is not. Months later complications are still present. This doctor is more concerned with avoiding accountability than trying to remediate the problem.

Positive experience from the start. Dr. Braswell came highly recommended from my gastro, Dr. Robert Loudon, and he surpassed expectations. He is professional and personable, listens effectively, answers clearly, and his visits to my hospital room post-surgery were timely and helpful. It wasn't just him, though; his entire office was excellent throughout the experience, from the folks who answer phones and make appointments to the attentive nurses.
