List of Cynthia Cater's Reviews
I started seeing Dr. Cater a little over a year ago. I’m so glad I did. She delivered my second baby and was wonderful throughout everything. I have also been very impressed with her staff.
I've been with Dr. Cater since I was about 13 or 14. She's so sweet! I'm now 25 and she has been such a HUGE help through my pregnancy. Wouldn't imagine having any other doctor!
Don't recommend to any who has a busy schedule. Wait for 3 hours to see a doctor.
I adore her and trust her completely. I came in and ended up having a lot of issues with my uterus. She did her research and consulted other doctors to try to find a solution for me. And she did. Totally recommend her!
Dr. Cater is a great doctor, but she has entirely too many patients for one doctor. Every single time I come for my appointment I have to wait 3+ hours! It never fails. I can arrive 15-20 minutes early for my appointment and still wait hours to be seen! I would NOT recommend to anyone that needs to get in and out of their appointment because it just will NOT happen.
DO NOT COME HERE unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like your concerns are irrelevant. Dr. Cater herself is an amazing doctor and it is really concerning that her "support" staff is not willing to meet the needs of her patients. I was made to wait over 4 months with debilitating endometriosis pain before I was finally allowed to meet with Dr. Cater. Since then it has been nothing but trouble trying to get my new prescription and getting answers to my pressing questions about that prescription. I came to this office in desperate need of help as the endometriosis now effects every aspect of my life, and after 5 months of being a patient there I have received little to no help with my condition. Please provide any recommendations you might have for adequate OBGYNs that actually care for their patients.
Dr. Cater is amazing, i have severe social anxiety and this is my first child so i'm fairly clueless as to the process but she has walked me through each step, told me what to prepare for at each following appointment and has been incredibly patient with me and my silly nervous questions. The only issues are that her work load is now so big that it can take nearly two hours after your appointment time to see her and the ladies in the lab across the hall are so very rude, the ladies that do your regular labs in office are also not the friendliest but much better than the ones across the hall. But the ladies at reception are sweet so i'm thankful for that. All in all i am very happy with my choice to use Dr. Cater, she is wonderful.
Dr.Cater is absolutely amazing.. she tells you everything you need to know, will answer any questions you have and is all about helping her patient. The staff is friendly. I've only met one person at her office that wasn't so friendly when I first went. This person said things I felt was not okay to say to a patient. But other than the one person everyone else is nice. I would highly recommend Dr Cater to anyone!
Dr. Cater is great, but that is all. The women who answer the phones are extremely rude.
Dr Cater used forceps and my granddaughter was not breathing when she was born. They had to revive my granddaughter then she had a seizure and her blood sugar dropped. My granddaughter has a brain bleed and we will not know if there’s any major brain damage till she about two. Dr Cater has not even followed up on my daughter or granddaughter.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
