Dennis Clark's Online Review Report Card

The dr is ok but he lets the "medical assistants" run the office they make up what ever charges (cash) and fees to charge you extra to make a commission. Ill be filing a complaint with bbb. (Glad I have my receipts) Every appointment they would make up something new to charge me extra be careful. Hopefully bbb investigates. Do better medical assistants. There's so many other people with reviews of the same thing that's crazy.

This doctor was okay for the most part and then my insurance changed and he discharged me for no reason. BIG HEADS UP...... when a pro health doctor does this no other pro health doctor will see you. Most mds in LA are pro health making very hard to find care. Also he will Arbitrarily decide when to give refills on a Friday. Find another doctor

I love him, he's the best. He's been caring for my acne prone skin in my mid 20's and now wrinkles at 45. He's also, my GP. Shelly and the entire office is super sweet. I feel at home, even though dr visits are nerve wrecking. You want a knowledgeable doctor and no nonsense, then he's the one.

Dr Clark is an excellent doctor, he's been our family's pcp for years now. Id give 5 stars but the quality of his staff in the last couple of years has been disappointing. The front office staff need to be replaced with nurses who actually care about doing their job .

They are forcing me to do a "Meet and Greet" as a 1st Visit. Then my physical is a 2nd visit. Who does that and charges for it? This way they can bill my insurance and charge me a copay not just once but twice. Any office that does that should be nixed from any and all insurances. What a scam to charge my insurance and make extra money.

The continuing saga. After the last last review a day ago the jist of which was 1.5 hour delay in appointment, no idea why i was there even though scheudeled it to review lab work. did not have lab work, and were defensive when I asked how long it would be after an hour. During that visit Dr. wrote a prescription, would not give me a coy, said it had to be sent directly to the pharmacy I had on file which was csv on pch long beach. I told them I do not use that pharmacy and they insisted that that is the one I had on file and so could only use it, ok fine. Of course, the pharmacy had no clue. So called Dr. back and was told they did submit it but would send again. Then I got a call back minutes later telling me that the problem was i had no pharmacy on file so they could not send it. I told her you told me that it was that pharamcy and that it had been sent! Response, wasn't me that told you that. Seriously, this office needs to get it's shit together.

While dr clark seems very competent his office is run very poorly. I showed for an appointment at 11am. I was told dr will be with you in a couple mins. An hour later I asked how much longer it would be and was told dr had an unexpected surgery and was running late. So I asked agai, how much longer do you expect and could not get an answer. I then commented as politely as possible that it would have nmbeen curious to let me know sometime in the last hour that he was tied up. Instad of an apology I got a bs excuse that they did not know he was going into surgery. Well wither they new at 11 when u came in or they new someone in the next hour. I tried to explain that and got more dismissive excuses.Then, to ask me why I'm here, they requested the appointment to review lab results. To top it all off, the lab results could not be found so the day was a waste. In any office, the answer should have been, we apologize, period. Second, they should review upcoming appointments and insure all the requirements have been met or call me and reschedule.

Doctor Dennis Clark is not the primary care doctor you need if you have any kind of neuropathy problem in your back or neck. He doesn't have any kind of network with other doctors that he can turn to. I wasted about 10 years with Clark until I quit him and went to Kaiser and finally got the help I needed which was neuro laser ablation. If a doctor doesn't have a good network he will be useless for most patients. I once asked him after a blood test what my blood type was...Dr.Clark thought it was so funny a request and that HE thought it "odd" that I would want to know my own blood type??? It is Dr. Clark who is odd.

He comes off cocky but, he's a very smart and cool doctor. They changed my insurance so i had to switch doctors but dr Clark is wirth going to and paying cash.

Avoid at all cost. Nice doctor, besides horrible service from their so called "manager". She was dressed very unprofessional with a very negative attitude. I was told I would be referred to a specialist and the referral would be done by the manager, weeks have gone by and she told me she would give me a call once it was submitted. Never got a phone call. So I decided to call up the office & I'm not sure who I spoke with but I was told she was busy so they transferred me to her voicemail. I left her a voicemail its been weeks now and still have not heard back from her. I will be changing providers due to poor service.
