List of Dewayne Clark's Reviews
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Clark. He did a resection surgery on me after removing a cancerous tumor. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Approximately 2 years later, that surgery came undone. I was told I had perforations in my bowel and a fistula in my vagina. I had fecal matter pooling inside my hip and coming from my vagina. I was in excruciating, debilitating pain. Dr Clark saw me in rmc and told me I could live with that. That people in 3rd world countries live with it everyday. He eventually agreed to do a scope and go in and see what was going on. His team refused to give me pain meds while I was down stairs waiting for the procedure so they not only left me to scream but told me I was causing a scene and told the other nurses to hurry up and get me back so I would stop yelling. While I was waking up from that procedure at rmc, Dr Clark called my husband on the phone and told him I was covered up with cancer and that it was the worst he has ever seen. That all they could do for me was send me home on hospice and pain management. He told my husband this without the confirmation of a biopsy. It was later confirmed by ctca and uab that I did not have a recurrence of cancer in that area so he turned our world upside down for nothing. I was still cancer free and did not in fact need to go home on hospice. I still had the fecal drainage problem though and this went on for 3 months. I was finally able to get in with a surgeon at uab who went in and cleaned up Dr Clark's mess. I ended up having to have part of my bowl removed and my rectum and now have a permanent colostomy thanks to him. The surgeon als9 told me that leaving the fecal matter in myhip area as long as it was deteriorating my hip and sacrum. So had it went on much longer I woukd have had to have my tail bone removed and possibly hip replacement and could have lost my leg. After all this, this man still sends me a bill. I once believed he was an amazing doctor until he butchered me and left me to suffer.
Dr. Clark is amazing. Hard to find a good doctor that explains and listens to his/her patients but with Dr. Clark you have it all.
A doctor that I trust.
He took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and how we would proceed. He did not rush in and rush out of the room but let me ask questions and talk about concerns.
Dr Clark is an awesome Dr I would recommend him to anyone
So far they've been very nice even though my brain is screaming to abort mission.
Doctor Clark has performed several surgeries on me and I have been seeing him for many years. He is very compassionate and listens to your needs. I wouldn't trust any other surgeon as much as him! He is a very good and caring surgeon!
Dr Clark is the best!! He is so good to listen and very kind and compassionate!! Highly recommend him!!
Dr Clark is very good surgeon., however his assistants made me fell like I didn't need the surgery and Belettled me. Never setup a follow up and yes I could have called but felt like they would treat me poorly so I didn't.
Dr Clark did surgery on my sister and not only did he take care of her, he also made sure that the family was ok. He took the time to take us thru the procedure and gave us assurance that he was taking care of our family. God blessed us with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
