I always enjoy coming to Dr. Shepherds office I have never had a long wait in their office or a long wait once brought into the room Dr. Shepherd is always polite and thorough and discusses with you what the options are and lets you decide.

I have been a patient of Carley Sayers NP and Dr. Shepherd at Gastroenterology Associates of Athens since 2016. Their treatment has limited my Crohns flares to about one every three years which is very manageable. They are both patient thorough and knowledgeable. When I was hospitalized on an unrelated nonGI issue their office rounded on me daily. Each rounding physician from their office had discussed my situation with Dr. Shepherd and was well informed on my patient history. I highly recommend the Gastroenterology Associates practice. Although scheduling contacting the Athens office staff can be difficult as their offices goes through an Atlanta based service the actual medical care is great.

I think that the situation that we are experiencing right now needs the virtual appointment more than ever. I highly recommend continuing it unless it is a major problem. Dr. Shepherd was very informative and personal as well.

While I’ve been a patient at the practice for a couple years I normally see the nurse practitioner Carly Sayers she’s awesome too. This was my first visit with Dr Bradley Shepherd and first telemedicine visit. It went well from technology standpoint and interaction. I was pleased and impressed. Would definitely recommend to others.
