Ridiculous wait times abrupt unfriendly staff.

Easily the worst experience weve had. Have tried them for a few years but their staff is unhelpful and borderline mean their doctors are used to hustling elderly people and dont want to spend time talking with you about health and they have no concept of preventative care advice. Do not give them the chance weve wasted a ton of money here.

First I’ll say I have no complaints about knowledge nor competency. I don’t even care about nice bedside manner if the MD is competent and listens and can have a disagreement and work through it. However as others have mentioned the staff acts like employees of the DMV even a little less courteous and I believe the MDs like them that way. Jarrard is a no nonsense MD but doesn’t like to be questioned nor disagreed with and even scoffs at comments. Big Warning If you miss appointments and don’t measure up to how they want you to be she will ask you to leave. I was told “We have very strict expectations for how we want our patients to be.” And then I was ushered out the side door without letting me speak apologize nor be asked why I missed appointments if that’s what it was really all about. So all in all it is apparent the practice is for them not for their Customers. I have never seen anything like it in my life. You have been warned.

Dr. Jarrard has been my PCP for more than 20 years thanks to the recommendations of several friends. My experience has always been positive. She is an amazing diagnostician may be her 6th sense. When my husband was ill getting closer to death no exaggeration under the care of a specialist I took him to Dr. Jarrard. With one phone call she turned his treatment around which eventually saved his life Dr. Jarrard is honest direct a good listener. If I had room here Id say more

Dr. Jarrard has been my GP for many years about 6. Whenever people ask who the best internal medicine doctor in Athens is I tell them to go see her. Period. Her focus is making you better and healthier. The clinic is very punctual and uptodate. High marks.

The worst customer service I have ever received anywhere ever Jarrad apparently doesnt care about this issue. They lady who answers the phone is embarrassing and shockingly inappropriate and rude. Im not the first to mention this horrible experience as you can see. Ive had great doctors who demand respect for their patients. Jarrad is not one of those. I recommend looking into internal medicine doctors in Atlanta or Gwinnett. Its worth the drive for quality care. Emory also has fabulous staff and doctors
