Great doctor and easy to talk to! Very confident in his ability ??????
Dr. Frankel has performed every one of my ear surgeries and I've had tons of them and he removed my tonsils when I was about 12 years old and I couldn't ask for a better Dr! He was the ONLY ENT I trusted to operate on my daughter!
Dr. Frankel has been my Dr. for about 30 years. He is very caring and has a great personality. He takes the time to listen to you. He has helped me with my sinus and allergy problems.
Dr. Frankl identified my medical problem and gave me treatment guidance which has kept me cured of it to this very day. Outstanding doctor who is both friendly, caring, and exceptionally professional.
Definitely would never recommend this doctor. I took a friend today and she has several health problems which affect her majorly on a day-to-day basis. This doctor was extremely sarcastic and made very mean comments including "Maybe we need to put a lock on her refrigerator." (instead of trying to encourage dieting) and he said that even if she found out she had a certain disorder, that it's a disorder that can't be treated (even though we both knew better and there are treatments for it which cannot be done if there is no diagnosis. My friend is in chronic pain and has breathing problems and this unprofessional person tells her to just "deal with it" and "live [her] life". He was speaking in tangents which were almost riddle-like and it was nearly impossible to follow anything he was saying the few times he was trying to be serious. He told her that her mouth was either too dry or too wet and said that he thought it was too dry because of her mucus being thick but then in the next breath he asked her if she wanted him to go with something that would dry it out more (which would make the problem worse) or moisten it (which could clear it up some)He kept making joking comments about getting botox and referring to all these things which happen to old people and absolutely none of it was necessary or relative to the reason for the visit. It just seemed like he was berating her the entire visit and I cannot fathom why anyone would allow a doctor to be such a bully. The nurse was fidgeting and uncomfortable the entire visit and her voice was shaking a little after he left when she was trying to set up an appointment with someone at a later time.Like I have previously stated, my recommendation for this doctor is to stay clear away from him.
I have never seen Dr. Frankel, unfortunately. If I could speak to him directly, I would I have BPPV. I woke up one day ago with an acute and extreme bout after a year with no symptoms. I looked up Valley ENT, sent an email requesting an appointment. Put in the comment section I can barely function, I'm just sick to my stomache. I heard nothing back, so I called at 11:50 AM. I got the answering service. She told me they had all gone to lunch apparently early today. So; Clearly the staff who tends to, or is tasked with attending too, the online patient portal, has forgotten she works with sick people and not in another type of office environment. I can assure you this; if this person or person('s) worked for me, they would be standing in the unemployment line.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
