My visits and surgery was 15 years ago. Dr Trotter was the best in Vermont at the time and I’m 15 yrs Cancer free and still viable! Thanks so much “Sam” !! I just wanted to reach out from Vermont and share how thankful I am for the success you made possible.

My husband had gone to a Urologist in another town for over twenty years. However, Dr. Trotter was called in by his primary care physician when he was hospitalized in Athens. We were impressed from the very beginning with his patience, the time he spent talking with us, his pleasant disposition and extensive knowledge. Since then, my husband has continued seeing Dr. Trotter and we have been so pleased with the care he has received. He is everything a doctor should be but few are.

Dr. Trotter treated my aunt, who had vascular dementia and could be very confused and combative. Dr. Trotter and his staff were very respectful and understanding of her situation. Of all the doctors my aunt saw during her illness, Dr. Trotter and his staff were the most helpful and caring and patient. He seems to truly care about his patients. I think his medical expertise is extensive. I would go to him for my own problems. I'm very impressed. One in a million!

Great Doctor. Takes all the time he needs to give you a complete exam. Asks lots of questions. Listens very well to patients and is genuinely interested in his patients. Bedside manner is Superior. I highly recommend Dr. Trotter to anyone needing his services.

Dr. Trotter saw me in the hospital after I began having "plumbing" problems after surgery. He was out of town, when my doctor contacted him on Saturday. They stayed in contact about my developing problems, until he was back in town on Sunday night. Dr. Trotter came straight to my room, examined me, told me what he was going to do and set me up for surgery on Monday. He answered all of our questions, in terms we could understand. His bedside manner is the best!! He was interested about me as a patient first, but also as a person. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a urologist.

Dr. Trotter is a very caring and talented doctor. He was very up front about my diagnoses. He made himself available through out the long process. He was so supportive. This was a long drawn out process. I will never forget when we had to call the answering service because the pain was out of control. We did not hear from the answering service or get any kind of reply for over an hour. We had to call back two more times before we got a call from Dr. Trotter. He was so kind and said he had just received the call. He told me to call his cell phone and gave me the number. He knew that I did not take medication for pain and he said he knew it had to be bad if I had called. I know that not very many doctors would do this. Thank the good lord I did not have to us his number, but I appreciate his willingness to help. I will never forget all he did for me. I would recommend him to anyone. He is wonderful.

Dr. Trotter and his nurse are above exceptional! We have been in Decatur for 7.5 years and not been especially overjoyed with the medical services we have encountered UNTIL we met Dr. Trotter and his nurse. They are so caring and empathetic and are there for you whenever you need them. We have never experienced such great care until we met them. Be prepared to be floored when you meet them because they are not the average medical team in this area.
