A sharp diagnostician with good bedside manner. She really pays attention. A very good doctor but not the easiest to see because she also teaches at the med school and has limited office hours.

I am a patient of Dr. Lester and have been for years. Once she moved into her Ogelthorpe office I had to see her nurse practitioner because she was unavailable. I saw her at least 3 times. Fast forward to the present. I call Dr. Lesters office to make an appointment only to be informed that because I havent seen her in a while Im considered a new patient and shes no longer accepting new patients. Really??? And because I saw her nurse practitioner last Im now considered her patient. I suggest not seeing the nurse practitioner at all if the doctor isnt available. So unprofessional.

I moved to Athens Georgia July of 2015 and needed a new doctor. I did not feel validated or heard. The office does not seem interested in sending for my previous medical records from New Hampshire. I have fibromyalgia and many allergies and skin conditions and the need for my records is important for making informed decisions regarding my care.
