Dr. Murphy is a great doctor. He has been my doctor since he started in Athens with Dr. Farris Johnson. Very thorough. Gives you his up most attention. I would not trade him for the world. He is my entire immediate family doctor.

Hands down the best doctor Ive ever worked with. Hes the only doctor to REALLY take the time to find the culprit of my headaches and to find longlasting effective preventions. He is an excellent listener and takes as much time in the room as needed. Highly recommended

Dr. Murthy has been a godsend for me and my family. If not for him I dont know what my life would be like today. From my very first appointment with him he determined the real problems I had which my previous physician regarded as part and parcel of another problem. Perhaps the biggest moment was in the hospital after a bad accident and after all the specialists came and left not able to determine what was wrong he sat with me asked yes or no questions because I was unable to speak touched my neck saw it was swollen and knew instantly what the problem was. A great thing about him is that he listens to you every little thing and uses that to help you. No piece of information about how you feel is too small.

Dr. Murthy is a fantastic family physician. It’s obvious he loves medicine but what makes him so special is that he loves working with his patients. And Dr. Murthy somehow sustains that positive energy within our $%’ed healthcare system... that can’t be easy.

Ive been going to Dr. Murthy for years and he is wonderful I have never had a doctor that will stay in the room and listen to you as long as he has. I am always amazed at how much time he gives me and I never feel like I am keeping him from other patients. When he is in the exam room with you you have his complete attention. He always has great suggestions and sometimes even alternative things that typical doctors never mention. He definitely thinks holistically and talks about nutrition as well DEFINITELY something most other doctors dont talk about or know about. I wouldnt go anywhere else and my husband goes to him as well
