He was so nice and spent time with you . It was easy to tell that he wants to help you feel better. He has a great disposition making you feel comfortable in his abilities! So happy I found him! Husband next going to get a referral tomorrow!!
Great first visit and very good medical advice in a wide ranging discussion about my health far beyond rheumatology! Looking forward to our next session, i.e. appointment!
As soon as I got there, I was welcomed. I didn't have to wait as I used too @ the EAMC office. Ms wendy was so friendly and fast entering my infos. Dr Adam's was right on time to see me. As always, he was caring and listened to all I had to say. He payed attention to my concerns and health issues. His conversations are very Focused and knowledgeable of my issues and concerns. I have been under his care for over 25 years and he is the best caring and effective Doctor I ever had in my 61 years, and believe me i am an international patient as my husband was a diplomat so we lived so many countries and I had so many Doctors in my life. I trust Doctor Adam's with my life and would trust him with all my Family members, friends and neighbors. It is a Blessing to have a very effective understanding Doctor like him .*
He was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. I would definitely refer any friends to him. I was very satisfied with his treatment plan.
I am so thankful for Dr Adams. He always tries his very best to find ways to ease my pain and make my life a little easier. He truly cares about his patients. He's been my Dr for 10 yrs now and I would recommend him to anyone.
I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Adams. Had I listened to him, an immune system altering drug would have been given. He could & should have taken a small biopsy to confirm or rule out a previous diagnosis which he well knew was on shakey ground. Go to Emory if you want to be correctly diagnosed.
Dr Adams is by far the best Dr I have ever had. His intelligence level is beyond amazing. He genuinely cares about his patients and is always researching ways to help them. I have been so impressed with him over the ten years I have been a patient of his, I would never search for another Dr.
Dr. Adams is an excellent and caring doctor. I have been under his care for 8 years and he has helped me tremendously with Sjogren’s Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. At each visit, he always takes time to thoroughly go over my notes and to listen and explain and determine the next course of action if needed. His PA is also very thorough, professional, and caring. His staff is courteous and professional and always answer my phone messages. I don’t know what I would’ve done without him the past 8 years!
I have been under Dr. Adams’ care for 8 years. After going to several doctors seeking help and getting no answers, he diagnosed and began treatment quickly. He is always very thorough at every visit and makes sure everything is looked at carefully. He spends time to listen well and provide excellent care. His staff is courteous and professional and always answers my calls. I am so very thankful to have Dr. Adams in my team.
Dr. Adams and his staff are the best. He is caring takes time with you explains what is wrong and builds a treatment plan for you. His staff prepares all paperwork works on financial needs medicines, appts etc. Dr. Adams and his staff far exceed my expectations. There is a small amount of wait to see him as he is so busy and takes time with each patient. I totally trust him, he listens and test and finds any medical issues. He answers all my questions. I would highly recommend him.
I know that some have had a bad experience with Dr. Adams office help in the past. I had a visit yesterday and everyone was more than helpful and pleasant! Dr. Adams is always more than helpful. Having Lupus, Ostio, and RA makes for a lot of bad days. But, I can say this past year has been so muck better. All thanks to him and his staff. Thank you all!
He is a wonderful rheumatologist and truly spends time with you explaining everything. He literally will fight for you with insurance companies and give you samples so you're never without your medicine. It treats you like a human not just someone he has to deal with. The staff, however, seem less plseased with their job. Oh well.
Sincere concern for patients welfare, professional, and treatment is effective.
I've seen the previous comments about his staff. In the past I would have agreed with these remarks. But he has made a change in his staff and it is much better. I now get responses when I call the nurse.
I was real impressed with his ability to be proffesional and have a good bedside manner. I would reccomend him.
Adams is a great doctor but his staff and Nurses leave a lot to be desired. They NON-RESPONSIVE to calls and faxes. PLEASE do something about your staff.
I love Dr. Adams. I think he's a wonderful doctor. But his ability to be a great doctor is hampered by his nursing and other support staff. They are terrible. If you call about a health problem you might get a call back and you might not. Once I had to mention the Medical Board to get a call back and I shouldn't have to do that. Recently another doctor sent something to Dr Adams. It is clear that the correspondence was placed in my file without anybody reading it, because it concerned toxicity of a drug the doctor had placed me on. I kept waiting for them to call and make sure I'd quit taking it, but they never did. When I went to my next appointment, I was scheduled to see the Physician's Assistant. It was clear nobody had still looked at my file, because the nurse came in and asked if I was having any problems - I said yes, and told her and she went out and the doctor came in - nobody mentioned what happened to the PA - he knew they'd screwed up and the situation with me was serious . But he shouldn't have been in this situation to begin with. Also, I do not let his phlebotomist touch me. She got in a hurry one day and her first reaction was to tell me she "had to stick me" in the wrist. I told her no, she wasn't going to do that, because it hurts like you wouldn't believe. If she'd taken her time, she'd have found someplace else, but she was not going to do that, she'd rather hurt me. So I go across the street. In conclusion, Dr. Adams has a lot of incompetent people working for him that might get him into real trouble one day and I'd advise him to do something about it.
wonderful doctor he is just so busy it is very hard to get an appointment
