We have been seeing Dr. Holmes for several years. She is so sweet and thorough and her staff couldn't be more helpful. She has taken of some problems for me and I feel well taken care of

I came with my mother and they Kicked me out of the lobby for doing nothing saying it was because of covid

I have been going to her for years. Sometimes there are wait times but whos doctor office doesn't have a wait time. Hers isn't as bad as some others i have been too. She has always been very straight forward with me about what i need or not need to do. Her staff is very nice and accommodating and she is as sweet as she can be.

You could not pay me to go back to this practice. Dr. Holmes has zero bedside manner, she made me extremely uncomfortable. I felt like my visit was more of a nuisance for her than anything. When the office called me back to schedule a return appointment due to test results...I declined and chose to drive to Birmingham in order to see a decent female dermatologist. A very cold person.

I absolutely would NOT recommend Dr. Holmes. Even as a patient for yearssssssss, it is still hard to schedule an appointment. The wait time is horrible; only to get back into a room and wait another hour or so. Dr. Holmes comes in and smiles at you for about 1 minute and doesn't even listen to the problems you have. The office is more concerned with selling Dr. Holmes products and making a profit. As well, the staff is tremendously rude and unfair. I've been seeing Dr. Holmes every couple months for a few years now and have always had a great experience. My wait times have never been long, and the doctor and nurses are always super sweet and welcoming. The appointments never took long, which I appreciate, because she knows what she is doing. She has removed and biopsied numerous spots and each appointment went extremely smoothly.I was always in and out in about 30-40 minutes. :) I've been seeing Dr. Holmes every couple months for a few years now and have always had a great experience. Takes entirely too long...but she’s the only dermatologist in Auburn...you book an appointment 6 months out and when your appointment finally comes you wait in the waiting room for a minimum of 30 minutes followed by a lifetime in the exam room. Then, once Dr Holmes finally gets to you she looks at you (doesn’t touch) gives you a medicine that, if you’re me, wont help you, hit you with a nice sized bill, and tell you to come back in 6 months...it’s truly frustrating when you have a real problem going on. I’m going on minute 20 now in the waiting room and will likely find a new doctor in the Columbus area. It’s worth the drive not to wait and leave frustrated. My daughter was 9 and had 30 plus warts on her hands that were quickly spreading. Dr. Holmes was so patient and gentle with my daughter. It only took 3 treatments to get rid of all of them and I had a very happy child who is now not scared to go to the dermatologist.

I have seen this dermatologist somewhere between four and six times. Each time I have had to wait more than 30 minutes in the waiting room before being called back, and it has most often been upwards of 45 minutes. Their scheduling practices clearly emphasize their own profits and do not show any respect for the time of their patients. Unless you have hours to kill and like to hang out in waiting rooms, I would avoid this practice. I have seen this dermatologist somewhere between four and six times.
