List of J. Dory Curtis's Reviews
The front counter staff was nice. This was my first visit and Dr.Curtis ordered his own x-ray which was ok. I just feels like he was rushing because my visit lasted ,from them calling me to the back, getting x-ray of both foot & being read, to Dr.Curtis coming in asking a few questions, moving both of my foot, giving diagnosis, handing me papers, maybe 20-30mins. And his diagnosis was very different from my x-ray and diagnosis that I had with my Rhuematoligist. But he also ended up slightly agreeing with my first diagnosis.
Dr Curtis informed me that my shoulder was good just needs therapy. Told me MRI are 90% incorrect, which doesn’t explain the pain the on going pain for 7 months. I d never refer this office to a homeless person. I forgot to mention as I was scheduling a follow up appointment, I overheard him discussing a personal matter with a staff member. Unethical, unethical, unethical and extremely unethical!!!!
He and his staff r very rude and don’t help nor is he involved at all.
My husband recently had surgery for an injury and everything has been great. I haven't met Dr. Curtis or his staff in person because of COVID restrictions, but Shannon has been very helpful over the phone and follow-up visits are quick. My husband (who can be a bit hesitant and impatient at times 😬), speaks very highly of Dr. Curtis and his injury seems to be healing quite well.
Shannon is a very judgemental person. She is rude and I will be reporting her to the main hospital for racial discrimination
He's always been great with me and my wrist surgery went great. Now, on to the next!
Rude and not helpful at all. Did not take the time to listen or to figure out what was wrong with my 17 year old daughter. We already knew she had a past fractured tailbone from urgent care xray. She is in pain and her upper legs are going numb but we had no clue why. He first told us there was not even a fracture of her tailbone after looking at the xray he ordered. Then informed us even IF it was fractured nothing that could be done about it, which was probably true. Then said that would not be the reason why her legs were going numb, but did not try to figure out why. She was crying and upset by the time we left because of the way he dismissed her and her pain.We went straight to our chiropractor from there. He did his own x-ray and found that she has a huge bone spur between her L5 S1 that is possibly pressing on her sciatic nerve. He did an adjustment and if it does not give her relief he is referring her to have an MRI done. But there was nothing on his xray?!? Don't think he cared....
He is a really great dr and couldn't find any better Dr's than the ones from around that hospital they where all great staff and great with working with me and getting me healed up and making sure I didn't lose my leg and did everything they needed to do to save it and I thank them for all there hard work and hope they get this message
Overbooked appointments and waited for 1hour and 45 min in waiting room past appointment time. Dr was very professional and knowledgeable, overall would recommend Dr but issues with front desk staff. Need more organization.
At age 33 I as well as Dr. Curtis were surprised to find I needed total hip replacement, in both hips. I spoke to several other drs about different approches, front side exctra. Dr. Curtis was very up front with me about the type of hip he would use and why. He answered all my questions and gave good reason for using the approches he uses in total hip replacement. The surgery was a sucess. I have had no problems with my Left hip since surgery and recovery. Right hip doing better and not quit surgery type pain yet. But I will use Dr. Curtis for my second replacement in the future.I love Dr. Curtis and am 100% happy with my experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
